On our way to Serfaus we decided not to drive the whole distance at once. Especially the last two hours over the Fernpass can be troubling because of the heavy traffic. Reutte is close to that Fernpass. When leaving early next morning, you don't have much traffic, which smoothens the drive. Hotel Das Beck is located in the centre of...

My husband and I spent one night at the Hotel das Beck while traveling through Germany and Austria. Less than 45 minutes from Ludwig’s Neuschwwanstein Castle, we found Reutte a quirt alternative to the bustle of the Fussen area, close by the castle. We had a delightfully large room (really a two room suite) on the ground floor with easy...

Inexpensive hotel in downtown Reutte. Stayed for one night in July 2016. Rooms were spacious. Ours had a small balcony looking up to mountains. Breakfast was excellent – our favorite of the 5 hotels we stayed due to excellent pastries and fresh breads. Free parking in back of hotel. Many restaurant options in walking distance, plus small café and bar...

We had two large rooms for 8 people total. Very comfortable, easy parking, great breakfast, fantastic hosts. Nothing negative to say. They recommended a local hotel for dinner and called to made reservations for us. It was a little expensive but the best meal we've had in the last week! Would stay here again for sure. Another tip for families,...

The hotel was conveniently located and parking was easy. The breakfast was nice, filling, and really well laid out. The employees were also extremely helpful. The only downsides were that we had a room right next to the check in/out area so it got a little loud and the hotel did not have a full restaurant. I would still recommend...

Located on the main street in the heart of this typical Tyrolean village, this small, quiet hotel shines a warm welcome. Very clean ample rooms with balconies provide a relaxing mood. Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful service

Upon arrival, Hans (the owner) informed me that our rooms had recently been renovated. They were lovely (2) rooms on the ground floor family rooms with extra seating - perfect for my larger family of 6. The decor is modern, with everything new. Hans was a perfect host - providing lots of information on local attractions, restaurants, and even stories...

Our two night stay was comfortable. Free parking behind the building. A good breakfast buffet, friendly owners, free wifi. If you wish to stay in Reutte it is a good choice but personally I would prefer a smaller village for atmosphere. The town itself I didn't find particularly appealing.
