We booked this hotel expecting what had been advertised, this clearly was a mistake. Any of the modern features you see on this hotels advertising is not the hotel itself but the spa in the basement (which you need to pay extra for). The rooms are outdated, extremely basic and frankly a health and safety risk. In the bedroom the...

The location of the hotel is perfectly quiet and pleasant for the children. They have a nice playground and there is a nice walk at the hotel with a serious heavy (uphill) start. The rooms are clean but very basic, no minibar or even a safe. However, the upstairs bed was nice for the kids. Nice view from the room....

We've stayed in this hotel during our visit to Durbuy, Belgium. We had a great stay due to the good service. The staff made our bed on a daily basis. It was very quiet and was very good for getting enough sleep after getting tired from doing the Adventure Challenge or after kayaking in Durbuy or even just after a...

On the plus side the room is clean, with a great view of the surrounding countryside, paint quite fresh also! Also surprisingly easy to find....on the down side the room I had came with a strange arrangement of beds, two narrow single beds and two upper bulk beds also.....so, I bit like spending the night locked in the kids section...

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend to enjoy the countryside of the Ardennes. The hotel is simple but clean and the personnel at reception very friendly. The surroundings are beautiful and there is much to do. Disappointing was the selection and quality of the dinner in the hotel restaurant. Also the restaurant staff was very unfriendly and...

Surrounded by a forest and right beside the scenic Durbuy, this hotel provides an interesting choice, especially for families. Still we found the hotel quite unbalanced, probably in the middle of a rennovation or change in management. The luxurious bathrooms of the wellness suites, along with some spa & relaxation facilities, seem contradicting to the otherwise seemingly family oriented hotel....

Booked after we stayed here last year. Both hubby and I had a troubled 3,5 month in work and private life. Booked 2 nights for specifically the welness suite, so we could try to relax a bit. First night we arrived late so no utilisation of sauna. The room has no airco and was terribly hot. Couldnt sleep. Tv was...

We had a great stay at Dennenheuvel but some points could easily be improved and would make the stay even better. We had our diner at the restaurant, the overall quality of the food was ok, the setting could have been great but with an empty table behind us it felt all a bit strange, there is also a fireplace...

The location, view, facilities, ambiance and friendly personnel, made it a worthwhile stay! The flies and the quality of the meals in the restaurant were a bit of a let down. The flies, they were an issue throughout Belgium, but we didn't really get the impression that the hotel was making an effort to get rid of them. All in...

The building is rather new. Rooms and restaurant were OK. There seems to be a nice wellness part, but we dit not visit it. Lots of nature and nice walking trails in the vicinity. Perfect place for a quiet and calm stay in nature.
