Our first time touring this area and we really didn't spend enough time here. We had two nights in the Casals room which was nice enough but if you plan ahead go for the Canigou room; it is splendid. Failing that, the Palm. We could not fault our short stay here. Friendly folks, a breakfast to last the day, and...

What a delight , a small private estate in almost the centre of Prades. Booked on line and found them quick to respond and helpful. A small family run business the hosts Nick and Kate were very welcoming , gracious and helpful with our enquiries whether it be a good local doctor or places to see . A great place...

What a fantastic place - we rented Gite Carlit for three weeks and really did not want to leave. Nick & Kate are fabulous hosts - always on hand if you need something no matter how small. In the foothills of the Pyrenees, about 40 minute drive to the coast and minutes to the mountains. 5 min walk to the...

During our 2 weeks in Languedoc Roussillon we stayed in 4 hotels/B and Bs and this was the cheapest and the best. We stayed for 4 nights and were sorry to leave as we really felt at home here, from the moment we arrived and Nick brought a tray up to our room with a pot of proper tea! Really...

A gracious mansion, and a gracious welcome from its owners. Our room was fabulous, (Canigou), palatial in size and draped with rich burgundy. But the real glory was the huge colonnaded balcony it opened onto, a generous personal area reserved for each adjacent room. With the backdrop of the Pyrennees it was an unexpected treat - and we decided to...

8th to 15th May 2012. Our group of 18 walkers stayed here, we were made most welcome and our hosts Nick & Kate could not have been more helpful, no matter what was asked of them. Lafabregue is a lovely old villa. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Each member of our group was very happy & satisfied. The...

Really enjoyed our stay here - the gite was everything we needed with a small outside patio area too, you could just see the mountain if you poked your head around the corner! Didn't try any restaurants - as we found the local pizza takeaway to be very good! Also the one in the supermarket car park was amazing too!...

We stayed just one night. If we come again it will be more. Our room was delightful, with a terrace overlooking the pool, very spacious and nicely furnished. The breakfast room overlooks the garden and has a view of Canigou. We were greeted with a lovely cup of coffe and made to feel very welcome. The hosts could not have...

A delightful find in a central location for exploring the Eastern Pyrenees. We enjoyed the "Florentine" room complete with marble bathroom and private balcony which was ideal for that sundowner. Kate and Nick, our hosts, were a fountain of information, welcoming and helpful with dinner reservations, and recommendations for sightseeing trips. The large, diverse and tasty breakfasts gave us the...
