We spent the first night of an 8-day Germany trip here, and I wish we'd stayed another night! Great-sized room, nice bathroom, friendly host, plenty of easy parking and plenty of options at breakfast to kick off the day. We particularly appreciated being able to check in early at 12 noon, since we landed in the morning at the Frankfurt...

We were debating whether or not to stay by the Rhein, and we knew the train would go by, so we opted for IM Malerwinkel instead. What a great decision! Such a great value. Beautiful location, plenty of parking, clean, functional good size family room, good breakfast (they would even have a little treat for my girls, ages 10 &...

We stayed for 3 nights in early September. Room was small and very clean (could of used a fan as it was very warm when we stayed there), breakfast was traditional continental style, wifi had good reception in our room, and easy onsite parking. We did not find one of the front desk staff as friendly as some other reviewers,...

We were travelling with another couple and based on reviews booked Im Malerwinkel for 5 nights. It is a great find! Beautiful setting, comfortable and clean rooms and excellent breakfast. The hosts were helpful. There were a few things we needed that were not supplied but I simply asked and they were supplied immediately. Bacharach is a wonderful town and...

Very cute hotel with a wonderful back garden sitting area and good sized rooms. We traveled with our two teenage daughters and reserved two rooms next door to one another. Check-in was easy, breakfast was wonderful, and the hosts were extremely friendly. A quick walk over a babbling brook onto a cobblestone alley, and you were in "downtown" Bacharach.

I am so thankful to be staying at this lovely B n b in Bacharach. The owner kindly fetched us both ways to and from the train station. Once there, there is a lovely short cut to town. Location It is not near to the train tracks and so it is very quiet. Easy short walk to the Rhine cruise...

We stayed 3 nights at the charming Pension Im Malerwinkel. It's a well-run family hotel that is located near Bacharach's centre. They maintain a very nice garden and surrounding houses are very pleasant. They offer an excellent breakfast that came with the best coffee we had during our trip. Furthermore, the family running the hotel are very helpful and attentive...

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of four. The room was spacious with single and double bed plus cot bed provided. The hotel is easily the nicest in the area, looks newly refurbished and very clean. There is now also a lift to get to upper floors more easily. Wifi, breakfast and car park is free / included....

This hotel is built into the old town wall between two of the towers. With the stream running past the garden seating area and ample parking, this is a perfect place to stay. Our room look over the garden with a view of the old church ruins and the town below. The hotel is clean, quiet, well maintained and the...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. What a wonderful place. Room was quiet and very comfortable. The location was great. So close to everything in town. When I was doing research, I thought it was going to be much farther away then it actually was. Just a few minutes walk into town. I love the appearance of the...
