Stunning place surrounded by greenery, very well kept and very clean. Fresh houses arranged every day, the buffet restaurant was wonderful, delicious and varied food, waiters always kind and courteous. The sea is truly worth it, an intense blue/green, clean and with lots of fish, and the shuttle service is very convenient. Definitely the ideal place for families with children, there is a baby bottle service and at dinner they have a menu dedicated to them with small pasta, vegetable broth and baby food. If I have to find a flaw, the bar prices are excessively expensive but we will definitely be back. We already miss you

The happy village is a certainty. We are in our sixth year but compared to recent years the return of Manuel Mascolo and Jolly Animation made this holiday exceptional despite the weather not being kind.
The village is characterized by its well-kept gardens and villas, many of which have an amazing view of the small bay with crystal clear sea. The food is very good for a resort although there is room for improvement on some dishes. The sweet section could be improved except the babà which is amazing. The animation is unparalleled. The evening shows are not only fun but also exciting. Circus, the show with which the week ended, was emotionally engaging. Not to mention the little ones. Pippi and the staff are not good but much more because they put an ingredient in their work that is not for everyone: lots and lots of affection! Surely there is something that needs to be taken care of a little better, such as the organization of the luggage (we carried it ourselves on the way out because there was no staff available) or the room delivered on
Late arrival day and not exactly perfectly clean. Overall... we will hopefully return for the seventh year too.

The entire place is beautifully landscaped, the room were well spaced to provide maximum comfort and privacy.

The food is well prepared and the restaurant staff always willing to help. Covid restrictions well placed.

Parking and beach chairs were assigned per room. We took the Bilocale Silver package and have the room close to the amenities plus second line beach chairs.

Everything is clean and staff are amazing. We traveled with our 4-year old and they offer plenty to entertain kids.

I highly recommend this place for a relaxing family vacation. We will be back.

The village prides itself on being a family village but it is not so, I will make a list of the problems encountered with my family which consists of two adults and a 1-year-old girl :
1) parking too far from the rooms and in August the service to bring luggage is out of order because there are endless lines to wait, in fact they also advise you to carry your luggage by hand.
2) the rooms are too spartan for a 4 star that is charged as such, a double mattress formed by two singles with spring mattresses, one longer Dell other, without topper and therefore not at all hygienic, even the cleanliness of the rooms is poor.
3) the shuttle service starts at 9am, with children it is known that you can expose yourself to the sun from 7am to 11am and from 5pm to 7pm, so in the morning we were always forced to walk to the sea, 15 minutes of downhill walking in a slope of about 60% that with a buggy is not beautiful, put us that my wife is also pregnant and we made the omelet.
4) the canteen has many alternatives and is definitely an added value but food waste is exaggerated and in 2024 still see these realities (cruise type) of waste is really bad taste, dishes should be served at the table so as to limit food waste.
5) animation is good only if you have children at least 4 years old.
6) the availability of the reception is really bad, we asked for a shuttle in the morning for my wife to take her to the sea at least she who pregnant 8 months we were told there was no taxi service... And on the last day to bring luggage to the car first they told us to wait 15 minutes and we waited, then after 1 hour of waiting they repeatedly hung the phone in my face and finally they told me that they no longer had shuttles available and that if I wanted I could approach the car to the room at my own risk and danger of hitting some passerby or child who obviously does not expect a car on a pedestrian street.
7) the shuttles to the sea are two a bus type and a cattle wagon type, which of course to bring small children is totally useless and highly dangerous.

The only positive thing is the sea which is clearly not thanks to them

I attach photo reservations so you can see that mine is a real review

PRO:
- staff and organization reception check-in and Check-out , attentive, kind, quick and polite catering staff,
- common areas full of very well maintained greenery, cleaning of common areas,
- pleasant animation, not intrusive, polite.

AGAINST:
- Rooms and common areas without Wi-Fi.
- Shuttle suspends the rides from 14 to 16 so during that time slot whatever happens you have to go back on foot and it is absolutely not easy especially for families with children, slow and inefficient service especially at peak times.
- Dated rooms with beds and pillows not comfortable
- Beach service (lifeguards and bathing assistance practically inefficient and distracted, on several occasions Since it is a beach where there are many children, other bathers intervened in emergency situations)

- Breakfast: hot breakfast area not air-conditioned, always overcrowded and not large enough, always the same products without ever changing.)

- Intrusive room cleaning service and do not respect the directions of cleaning times, early in the morning they already knock insistently to be able to clean the rooms without checking if someone inside is sleeping or not! There is not even a tag you can put behind the door to indicate when you can clean the room.

Location: 5 stars with free charging for electric cars (a beach/multipurpose court on the beach would be welcome and convenient).
Reception: from booking to welcome, always kind, professional and attentive to every request.
Accommodation: three star bathroom furniture but I know they are renovating from year to year, I'm ok.
Cleaning: punctual and precise, good.
Restaurant: good food but not 4 star, if you then decide to serve excellent quality prawns, they must be cleaned.
Dining room: Maitre Armando SPECTACULAR, staff ok.
Breakfast: spectacular location, quite varied products, but in a 4 star hotel there cannot be without sparkling water.
Shuttle service: perfect.
Beach service: Lorenzo SPECTACULAR, staff ok.
Bar and Pool Services: Franco and family are very good, staff ok (those who complain about the high prices are only referring to the cocktails, everything else is very normal).
Bar Restaurant on the beach: Gianfranco SPECTACULAR excellent raw materials and excellently cooked, ok staff.
Clothing corner on the beach: Giovanni is kind, professional, excellent quality for the price.
Swimming pool: spectacular location, with background music it would be perfect.
Entertainment: young, brilliant, never intrusive, professional, empathetic, versatile, if they are there next year it will be one more reason to return, special thanks to Federica, Martina, Roberta, Andrea and Samuele, coordinated excellently by the Village Manager Manuel Male.

A week of pure relaxation, nature and good food. Impeccable organization, beautiful sea and easy access with very efficient transfer service. Bungalows equipped with all comforts even the basic ones, excellent cleaning service with daily towels and midweek changes for sheets, if you are looking for relaxation and silence ask during Reservation Bungalows near the beach away from the amphitheater. To return even just for a we!

I returned for the second year, in the week of August and, I noticed that the village was not fully booked.
Accommodation in a quiet location, but reduced to the essentials as spaces.
Kitchen service, abundant in quantities, decent quality, limited range of dishes, except on August Day. Hearty breakfast, but cold cuts counter invaded by bees.
Repetitive animation, compared to last year and non-existent for adults.
Shuttle to the beach efficient.
Beach service Non-existent, umbrellas a short distance from each other, with no corridor to reach the sea.
At 1 p.m., the huge excursion boat arrived on the beach, showering bathers with engine exhaust.
Photo shoot with amateur photographers.
Conclusions: supply/price ratio definitely low.

I just spent a nice holiday at Happy Village, a magnificent village surrounded by greenery. The location is beautiful...You are surrounded by olive trees, grapefruit plants, beautiful hibiscus...I even saw three squirrels climb on a maritime pine from my accommodation...
Let's come to my cottage.
I have to thank Mrs. Marida who helped me choose the studio that was right for me... Great choice.
The room was always spotlessly clean and for this I thank Mrs. Maria Luisa, precise, attentive and kind.
As for the restaurant there is a lot to say... If you want to eat in abundance is the one for you... Buffet service so without limitations... Too bad that not all the dishes were good... Excellent appetizers and main courses... On the first, except today that I finally got to enjoy exceptional crepes, there is work... First of all the cooking... The pasta must be al dente and of good quality and also on the dressing I would suggest the chef to learn some recipes... In short, I ate the first one only today... fortunately that with appetizers and main courses you compensate... Also on meat-based main courses I would say to cook something grilled and still a little less "canteen".
Let's move on to animation... Poor for children aged 15 to 17... only two hours in the afternoon at 40 degrees... When one prefers, to survive, take a bath... In the evening... NOTHING! Then animators who do not help the boys to get to know each other, little present and above all indifferent. Except that Leonardo who with archery tries to do his best. Only in the evening shows at the amphitheater more for adults and children than for children. Let's say that on 6 nights I save two... Thanks to Chicco Paglionico and Nando Timoteo who made me really laugh... The rest... To forget.
Many customers are old...But I give you a tip...Try to take care of the new ones too otherwise you will lose them...

Everything great at Happy Village!
Comfortable and clean accommodation immersed in the greenery of an amazing botanical garden. Stayed in a two-room apartment (family of 4) double split air conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom of the right size and with comfortable drawers under the sink to store beauty and other items.
Excellent shuttle service to the beach below (max 5 minutes of travel including intermediate stops at various points in the village). Beautiful sea that however goes immediately deep and with the presence of gravel / pebbles in the shore.
Also excellent restaurant with buffet service and quality ingredients.
Pleasant and non-invasive animation.
Experience to repeat! Absolutely recommended!!

Hi Gillian, yes, rooms do have fridges. Our room had a fridge just behinf a door in our outside terrace. It was a bit tricky, but we found it and it was very handy to keep fresh water in... :-) have a nice vacation!
