We stayed two nights in the Viola trullo and loved it. So homey and so much space and our hosts Maria and her son Donato were very welcoming. Donato had a list of recommended towns and restaurants in the Puglia region and we used his help to discover a nice town on the coast called Polignano a Mare. His mother...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days in October. The owner runs the hotel with his wife and Mum and it is very obvious that they are all very proud of their little Trulli village. The gardens are beautiful and cared for. The house that we stayed in, Trulli Viola is lovingly restored and furnished. The breakfast was...

Where to start? This is a beautifully laid out area with its Trulli, each with an outside area where you will be served the best breakfast with home cooked specialities (made by his mother) and fresh fruit each day in the sunshine. Donato wants you to enjoy your time in this beautiful area and will recommend restaurants, places to visit,...

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in September and had such a lovely time. Right from the start of booking, Ionna was so pleasant and helpful. When we arrived in Alberbello station Ionna's husband, Donato so kindly collected us from the station and drove us to our beautiful Trulli. We stayed in Trulli Viola which was just stunning!...

The big and generous breakfasts that is ... served by Maria with a smile on your private terrace outside your traditional triulli house. This peaceful garden is a green oasis. The location, half a mile to the both of Alberobello, is ideal and a perfect base for visiting Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare (plus many others but...

From the start to the end of our stay here, everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, our hosts were charming and discrete, and our accommodation and the garden were lovely. We felt at home, all thanks to Donato, his wife and his kind mother. Thank you. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip!

I am not usually lost for words but all the superlatives for Trulli Colarossa have already been, quite rightly, taken by previous reviewers. So what am I to do except to say it's all true - family Donato, Ioanna and Maria offer a genuinely warm welcome to guests and nothing is too much trouble, from providing insights into the best...

Donato, Maria and Ioanna hope you are well, so sorry for the late review. Well what can I say probably one of the most beautiful, relaxing family holidays we have ever had. The gardens, pool, playground and Trulli were stunning, spotlessly clean. Our daughters aged 11 and 18 months old loved it, my youngest believed that the fairies lived there...

I've just returned from a week at Trulli Colarossa with my two teenage sons. We had a wonderful time and can endorse the positive reviews below. The Trullo was really nicely furnished in a traditional style. We especially loved the terrace which was the best place to enjoy the weather and the lovely atmosphere of the property. Breakfast was served...
