We have booked our stay incl. Breakfast. We could use the Restaurant for Dinner also, but have to pay in advance at the rezeptione. It was a bit disappointing that it was not allowed to pay at the last day before leaving in total. We also used the safe in our room - also against advanced payment. Never have had...

Sufficient standard, very nice service. The hotel has a lot of attractions - animations, shows mainly in French. Good bus connection from Funchal. The journey takes 15 minutes. Car rental at the hotel. Nice and interesting place although strange weather.

What a nice surprise this hotel turned out to be. Admitting it does need a bit of TLC. But what it lacks in the wow factor, it certainly is made up for , by the lovely, friendly and very helpful staff. Those being Paulinha on the reception and Mario on the bar and restaurante service. It's spotlessly clean, the beds...

Nice hotel, already a little bit old furniture but very nice personal and atmosphere. The only thing I would like to change is the type of blankets. I would prefere the north european style (single blankets) rather than the south european (one big blanket for two persons).

People with walking difficulties do not visit. Steps to reception, steps to rooms, steps to dining room. Clean room, lovely garden. Food very 'same-y' but hotel crowded with French (loud bossy French!) Staff were very helpful.

We arrived Dom Pedro on a monday morning and went to one of the 3 swimming pools and it was really relaxing and nice. Then we went for a walk, there are lots of restaurants close by,and a supermarket right in front of the hotel. When we got to the bar it was 23h20 and it was already closed (said the...

Average three star hotel in a quiet town. Very basic place but the pools are nice. Breakfast is nothing to write home about but there are very good breakfast places just across the road. The restaurants for dinner in town were lacking.

Nice exterior but there were pismires in our room and it was sometimes cold at night. The same breakfast every morning was not very attracttive but good. Wi-Fi only in reception. Everything else looks good.

Stayed for second year, this time a bit longer, 2 weeks. Room 2205, overlooking small pool. Lovely sea views and Cristo rei. We had room only, and requested fridge, which was granted, (needed for meds) desk staff very helpful, timetables, and trips booked, no problem. This is the ideal base, bus outside takes you to funchal, yellow bus tours over...
