We've decided to organize our wedding party at the Palace Hotel after we stayed there for a weekend. The building and surroundings are quite impressive, but there is a clear lack of professionalism. The person in charge lacks basic management skills and shouldn't be trusted to run such a beautiful (even if slightly decadent) place.

This is a lovely boutique hotel, existing for almost 100 years. They try to make it look almost as it was back then and só the decour is really quite vintage. Good breakfast with a variety of options. Confortable and clean rooms. Meals are just ok, lacking regional flavours, and largely overpriced. Garden and pool lacking maintance (and this is...

Great looking hotel, must have been so grand in its day. Unfortunately it's still stuck in the days of ration books, the owners clearly don't want to spend any money on it. The minute you walk through the front door the disappointment will hit home. Our room was clean but very tired, with shabby bedding and carpets. Rooms were noisy....

After reading some negative reviews I was aprehensive for our 1 night stay! However the room was very spacious with pleasing views and fab windows. The pool was clean , although much needed renovation of the area around, you could say it added to the charm of this original 1920's period hotel. Breakfast was more than satisfactory, staff are friendly...

This hotel has a very special charisma that stems from its stunning architecture that makes it unique and that transports us to other times. Not everything is perfect, although we noticed a careful maintenance in the most central areas, are also visible some notorious traces of the passage of time, particularly on the walls of the corridors, in the area...

It's easy to appreciate what this excellent hotel must once have been in its late heyday - probably the 1950s. Internally, the fittings have been well restored but there's a sense of emptiness in all the public spaces as they built for more guests and more entertainment. Externally, the vintage swimming pool is showing signs of its age although the...

The hotel has a good space in the main building, and it was really well renovated. The breakfast was very nice. In the negatives I would talk about the room. It was small and the view was to other room windows. The worst part of this hotel is the pool. It seems they just forgotten that they have this space...

We had a font room with garden view It is really going back in the 1920's, big and clean rooms, very nice (bronze) statues However it needs some nearby investments , a terras would be nice, the swimming pool is OK, but the immediate surrounding looks terrible and is not very inviting. The food is OK and they try to...

Great hotel, fell the history of this great hotel in every hall, conner, living room. A great location, great swimming poll with a vintage feeling. The breakfast with music from the 1920 is fantastic, amazing food, and the simpaty of all the workers of the hotel, make this a place to come!

Probably one of the most remarkable stays we had in years. Quite unusual. The hotel dates from the 1920's and looks almost like nothing changed. The rooms have been refurbished and were very nice with all comfort you need. The rest of the building is still very much original and kept in good shape. There were not too many people...
