Beautiful historic castle building in need of extensive interior renovation! Certainly NOT a five star hotel. The setting however was spectacular. Nice gardens, great trails, historic monastery buildings, gorgeous woodland setting. Traditional restaurant, formal service, good food, but expensive.

I'm afraid not, but with that beautiful forest and the streams that flow through it, there's plenty of refreshment!

I would say the best way to get there from the US is flying to LIsbon.
