I stayed here for 2 nights during a trip across the region and the hotel was a good base to explore Ubeda. Located in a square just off the main square of the old town, this boutique, privately run hotel is in an old building overlooking the town hall. Its also at the end of the main street of the...

We decided to stay here rather than the over priced Parador and decided we had made a great choice. The hotel was comfortable, clean and traditional. It had a lovely atrium and was classically laid out. The location was perfectly central in the old town. It was a little noisy at night with the street cleaners washing down the plaza...

We were here for our honeymoon, and unfortunately we ended up with a room with two twin beds, and could not get them changed. Bevery awarewhen you book a double, its very confusing. The room was very small. The restaurant was closed the whole time we were there, so we didnt get to try it out. Wifi barely worked, at...

I've been to Ubeda a couple of times. The first time was on a day trip coming from Baeza. This time my wife and I came from La Calahorra, around Guadix and up the A-401 road. This road is worth taking a detour for because the road and scenery are stunning. There is a lot less traffic and when you...

An old palacio converted to a hotel. Great location; you can walk everywhere. Ùbeda was one of our favorite cities in Spain. Everything at the hotel is clean and comfortable but they would do much better, and could raise rates, if they did some renovation. Wonderful views from a the rooms. Internet is only available in the lobby. Why? I...

We spent three nights here in late June, when temperatures rose to over 44 degrees celsius during the day. The hotel is a slightly faded, interesting building, but is sadly in need of upgrading. The aircon was completely inadequate and very very noisy - on the third night we found it best to open the window at 3 am -...

What a good place to stay: bang in the middle of the old town and facing a pleasant square. Everything within walking distance including churches, monuments, gardens and restaurants. Quiet rooms (though there was a wedding party that went on for hours in the hotel and might have caused more noise in the front rooms), comfortable beds, decent bathroom with...

We needed to find somewhere with parking for our rental car that was central and secure. This was one of the few hotels that did this. Room was large and comfortable. A really good breakfast. No faults at all with a fantastic location, just steps away from all the major sights.

You couldn't ask for a better location than right on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. The room and amenities were first class as was the inner core of the hotel which had very nice decorations and finish. Staff was courteous and attentive. The price was right for the high quality of the hotel.

Lovely friendly helpful staff; great atmosphere and ambience; good grub and fine views overlooking the main square. Only misses out on a fifth star because at a crucial point signs to the hotel ran out and it was a swine to find in the car.
