We visited this hotel last week and had a lovely time, nothing had changed, same staff as before and still spotless everywhere. The only disappointing thing (that was not the fault of the hotel)was that everywhere in Cala Bona and most of Cala Millor closes on October 31st and so it was exceptionally quiet. I don't like rowdy places at all but...

Hotel has modern rooms which are well cleaned daily. Fruit basket, slippers and robes provided on arrival and a large bottle of water which was very welcome when a cuppa was needed due to lateness of arrival. A cold meal was also provided which was lovely and not expected to be so good. Plus points: Constant hot water Excellent cleanliness...

This is a lovely hotel. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful. My only quibble is about the rooms. What are described as "sea view" rooms (and for which we paid extra) would in other hotels be described as "partial or side sea view". Full on sea views seem to be confined to suites. The side of...

When we arrived it was an easy check in and a welcome drink. The suite was spotless. The breakfast cooked fresh while you waited ( which wasnt long) 10/10 for the...

Good selection and the hot breakfast is cooked is for each guest individually. However, if you are looking for a beach holiday, forget this Hotel. If fact forget the whole resort of Cala Bona. Thomson described the beach as white...

We stayed at the Gran Sol for a week at the end of September, we had booked a twin seaview room and on arrival we were disappointed to be given a double side sea view, even though I had emailed and requested a full sea view, now I know everyone wants these rooms but not everyone takes the trouble to...

We stayed at the Gran Sol for 2 weeks at the end of September on a half board basis. While Cala Bona is the older of the two adjoining resorts, Cala Millor being the other, we were not disappointed with the hotel. It was recently refurbished and the reception, our room, bar area and restaurant felt really fresh, modern and...
