Very attractive place to visit, beautiful monastery and lovely surroundings. Covered quite a large area with lots of walks with lovely views, botanical garden walk, gorgeous swimming pool. Cafe and restaurant on site, easy to find well signposted, parking fine. Didn't stay at this location just visited for the day.

My family and I went there in the beginning of July. Perfect day as the weather was not too hot. There were not as many other turist as could be expected. Maybe because the family boychoir was on holiday.Eventhough we didn't hear the choir the monestery is really worth visiting. It has Lovely art and naturalhistory museum which is very...

Set in the coastal mountains, this monastry is a beautifully maintained building. The cyclists can be a real nuisance on the narrow mountain roads, but it is worth a bit of patience to get there. There is a café near the car park.

Quite a disappointment! Sure the views were fabulous but if one is expecting to see a serene monastery you will surely get disappointed. Very commercial place, infact the restaurants etc were quite an eye sore! I wouldn't waste my time going there....

Dear Customer, We are sorry for the bad impression that our sanctuary has caused you. In the evening it is much quieter but in the morning there are many pilgrims who come to see the patron saint of Mallorca, the Virgin of Lluc.

I have just returned from Majorca and part of my stay was at Lluc monastery. The accommodation was clean, basic and adequate. There was a small fridge in our room. The restaurant attached was good - unusual meals offered ( goat, rabbit, suckling pig, liver ) and a good bar. There was another restaurant about five minutes walk away which was also...

The place was full of hiking groups so only a superior room was available. We had booked half board and this was honoured but other independent hikers staying at the monastery were told the restaurant was full and that they had to use the cafeteria nearby. The superior double was huge but the bath was short. Great windows, warm but...

I felt that I must leave a review as I have been moved by this beautiful and spiritual place. I checked in for one night initially and ate at Sa Fonda, which is actually within the Santuari. The cabrito was one of the best I have ever eaten and they offer some of the best Mallorcan cuisine done very well....

It's a fabulous drive up to the monastery from either the north or the south. That's the best bit unless you are a Pilgrim. The monastery itself is big...the church is underwhelming...the museum not worth paying for. Only the ancient artefacts were interesting and they weren't labelled...even in Spanish. So don't expect too much.

When we arrived in the car park we saw a Robin, this was an omen as we ended up feel as though we had been robbed (robin gets). We paid the fee to park and get in . They wanted another 1 Euro to here a translation in English. They then wanted 50cents to light an electric candle. The exhibits...

It starts with the parking - Expensive, but then the entrance is free says a sign. - And yes you can enter the area, but if you want to see anything else than the church you need to pay again. Leaving the area you find that the parking fee is more than what the sign tells you. However go to...
