On arrival at this hotel, the main entrance has a lounge area deck which looks attractive with cute plants scattered round cosy seating areas. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, additionally giving safety tips due to covid, letting us know about masks, social distancing and sanitiser stations. Check in was delayed considerably due to some discrepencies by the hotel, however, once the manager was informed of the situation, she attentively acknowledged the problem and tried to find the best solution to put things right, making us feel valued and welcomed. After we settled into our Junior Suite which was absolutely beautiful and clean throughout, with a great view of the pool, beach and sea we went to explore the hotel grounds. Firstly as you walk through reception it expands into 3 large lounge areas which is contemporary, modern and stylish, walking you straight through to the pool and outside lounge area which takes you straight to the beach...breathtaking! Everywhere you go is clean, no rusty furniture from water and the weather was simply fantastic just to top it off. Outside in the pool area was an Adults only area, where you could lounge on the day beds scattered around the adults only pool with the ambience of contemporary popular music. There is an outdoor restaurant / bar with a terrace overlooking the beach serving up cocktails food and snacks til late afternoon. The walk to the beach from reception area is less than 5 minutes walk, you literally walk through the pool area right down to the beach where there is soft sand and warm clear sea water! We booked Half board so breakfast and dinner was included. Breakfast was great every morning, serving up hot and cold food, juices, wine, hot drinks and a great selection of fruits, pastries etc however the dinner wasnt as great, as we are not big meat eaters we found the options abit lacking in choices also the description labels for the food did not specify the exact contents of that particular dish which can be tricky especially if you do not eat pork or other meat dishes, you could accidently eat meat. All staff around the hotel were extremely friendly and hospitable, I had a good laugh with almost all of them, practising my spanish ( few sentences lool) and just enjoying their vibe! There was only one incident of someone having us wait for aaaages for a drink even though I alerted him twice but he looked abit stressed that day...i suppose everyones allowed one bad day! There was hotel staff lady called Carmen who worked her fingers to the bone, very helpful and couldnt do enough for you, cleaning tables in a flash constantly on the go, always attentive with keeping your orders topped up, who we didnt get to say goodbye to. When we return to Mallorca we would definately stay here again and look forward to seeing them all again. Marcus in reception was absolutely adorable and was forever helpful offering tips and ideas of things to do on the Island. Pilar, one of the managers was absolutely lovely, really took care of us. These are the things that are important when you travel, as you want to feel a home away from home and thats how we felt!  Thanks for a great stay and the chance to watch the Euros football on fabulous screens all around the hotel! We would definately recommend staying at this hotel, I like Melia as a brand anyway they deliver comfortable, luxury accomodation with great customer service as well as offering Covid 19 Tests on site which you can book via a QR code.

Hotel's Favourite
We are friends celebrating a 40th birthday and chose the hotel because I’ve visited lots of times before at the Calvià beach next door! I’m a travel agent so am a huge fan on melia. On arrival we were allocated a junior suite as booked but it did not have a balcony as specified. We wanted a balcony as this was a special occasion! The manager was amazing and sorted this for us straight away! The room was on the 9th floor and stunning! The hotel is exceptionally clean, breakfast delicious. We had the level and would highly recommend this and a junior suite! Fantastic and we will be back. Thank you to the all the staff especially the manager who acted amazing to address our original concern.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it, the hotel was very clean food abd drink was excellent and the service was fantastic. We spent most of our time by the Adults pool but there is a family pool for people with children where all of the activities are which looked great. The hotel is right next door to nikki beach which is a great day out and there is direct access to the beach. Make sure that yoy request a balcony room when booking if you like to sit on yhe balcony as a number of rooms have just a small French patio that you can't sit out on. Also the drinks are very expensive but they are good quality, we prefer to get beers from the shop over the road because they were so expensive at the pool bar, the cocktails are really expensive too but good quality. We will definitely return.

Our visit was during the tail end of covid. So the hotel was quiet to begin with and gradually got busier. We had the level extra which is expensive but definitely worth it for the food and nice room alone. The breakfast is amazing, with a buffet and hot plates to order. The omelettes are especially good! The snacks are a nice addition but you want to go for the 5-6pm cocktail hour that includes tapas as this is practically a dinner in itself. The food they put out is lovey and you can have as much as you want and can make your own cocktails. There is also access all day to soft drinks from the fridge which you can take with you around the hotel. The level specific sun bathing areas are very nice but there are not many umbrellas so if you think you will want one make sure to wake up early to claim it! And as the hotel got busier the level began to seem oversubscribed as there began to be no room in the sunbathing area which is a shame when you pay for it and can’t access it and the buffet starts to get crowded with the nicer foods being taken quickly. Finally, the level concierge is not the most useful with them not being there a lot of the time and when I do ask they are either helpful or tell you to go to the normal reception ( they did end up calling me a taxi after some persistence). Overall a very nice hotel, if a bit expensive but if you don’t mind the cost then definitely worth it for the above and the proximity to the lovey beach!
