Hotel Samos is often celebrated for its excellent location close to the beach and nightlife, though noise levels have been a concern for some guests. While the staff's friendliness is frequently commended, interactions with bar and reception personnel have occasionally fallen short. The hotel's cleanliness receives high marks, but opinions on value and room quality are mixed, with additional charges and inconsistent all-inclusive policies being points of contention. Amenities like the pool are generally appreciated, yet the vibrant atmosphere may not be for everyone, especially those seeking tranquility.

I had a brilliant stay 25th to 30th July with a group of friends, this was my 3rd visit. The rooms are modern, very clean and spacious, with a walk in shower, effective air con and lots of English channels on the TV. As we had the new terrace rooms, we had direct access to the large first floor terrace which has lovely seating areas, Bali beds and a shallow pool. There is also a bar which wasn't open during our visit as the hotel wasn't at full capacity, however this is a great additional space to relax away from the main pool.
Breakfast was served to you at the buffet and had an excellent choice, including eggs cooked to your requirements and fresh pancakes. There is a large pool, daytime activities and plenty of sunbeds.
The hotel have put in safety measures including extra cleaning, sanitizing and mask wearing in communal areas, this gave us confidence while staying. All the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful and really make a difference to your time there. I will definitely be returning, hopefully later in the season.

We had a lovely week here at Hotel Samos - via Jet 2. The hotel was very clean and sanitizer everywhere. The staff are obviously working very hard in testing times to keep things clean and running well.

I really liked the food and there was always a delicious selection of fruit to finish off each meal.

As we were half board plus we had either BB & lunch or BB & dinner and drinks were included with meals. This was fine as we are not massive drinkers anyway. However it would have been nice if we could have taken a drink from dinner or lunch in a plastic glass to finish by the pool side. As we couldn't we didn't really have any of the inclusive drinks.

It would have also been nice to be able to have a coffee after lunch or dinner but for some reason the machines were covered over at these times. Inclusive coffee (for our board) was only available at breakfast. We ended up hiring a kettle for our room.

Anyway, they are just a couple of minor gripes. Overall we had a lovely time. It was relaxing, our rooms were cleaned everyday and we were able to come and go as we pleased. The location was great - a short walk from the beach.

Thank you Hotel Samos and Jet 2 for a lovely stay.

A note to also add that Jet 2 were excellent.

We stayed here in late June '21, it is a clean resort with friendly staff and houskeepers. They clean the pools and deck very early every morning. Food over all we thought was good. We pick half board because we wanted to venture out at least once a day to eat at area restaurants. My one complain is that breakfast ended at 10 AM. They should have it until at least 11 AM specially since the restaurant didn't opened back up until 1 PM for lunch. So for guests that like to sleep in the morning loose their money if breakfast is included in the package. Hostes at the restaurant would get upset if we didn't go online to make reservations even though it would be halft empty. We had dinner one night and we thought it was not as good as breakfast and lunch so we never ate dinner again there.
The location is just a few blocks away fromt he beach, lots of area businesses were still closed around the hotel except restaurants and bars right on the beach. I would recommend this hotel for young couples and single people, lots of strip joints across the street and a very popular night club next door, which were still closed when we were there but some were getting ready to reopen in early July.
The first night we stayed there A/C units in all of the rooms in the hotel stopped working for some reason during the middle of the night and we woke up sweating, I never got a logical explanation why they stopped working but I had read some complaints about this happening before. The rest of the 6 nights we stayed the A/C worked fine.

Good:
Lots of sunbeds, food was quite good, coffe was strong and good, location is nice, clean rooms, clean pool area, covid implementions were good.
Bad: pillows in the room was horrible (thin, long, flat and too soft), the all incluisve does not include any alcohol at all, we had read that 3 drinks per day is included from the bar, but there was nothing. Dont pay for it. We are a couple and not heavy drinkers so just one beer would be nice but we had to pay for it. The bar staff are not so friendly and you cannot pay with card, which is really bad since you have to pay for everything even if you have all inclusive. There is also a deposit for each glass that you use of 1 euro. Not much, but just annoying to withdraw cash for this reason.
There are long ques for everything, food and drinks. You cannot take anything yourself.
The glasses are extremely small so you have to go several times each time you eat in the restaurant.
Gym is well equipped. Pools are clean. Pool area is clean. Hotel was clean and rooms good. However, rooms are small and the AC is not great. It was way too warm.
They also let some families behave like complete id*ots, some just went in front of you in the que, took 10 plats of pizza just to throw it away and were extremely loud. Would not recomend.

The hotel is clean and very well located close to the strip and the beach (around a 5 minute walk for both). It is across the road from a few shops and a few of the quieter night clubs. We found the Staff for the most part to be very friendly and help you with anything you need. When we arrived and checked in to a room which hadn’t yet been cleaned (other peoples belongings laid across the room), they were accommodating and booked us into the next available room with minimal fuss.
The entertainment team are good. They try and get you involved in some activities during the day but not pushy at all.
Pool area is good, plenty of sunbeds for everyone and has a lively atmosphere throughout the day. No ball games or inflatables in the pool during the lifeguards shift (10am whilst 6pm).
The rooms were suitable, the maids cleaned every day and we never had any issues with the cleaning. Beds were quite comfy and I didn’t struggle getting to sleep at all.
The most disappointing thing for me was the food. It was very bland, at times undercooked and I found there is little to no option at any of the 3 meal times. It didn’t look appetising on any day we were there. I was also disappointed with the cleanliness of the glasses provided for fruit juice during breakfast as they were not clean, lip stains and other marks could be very clearly seen around the rims of the glasses so they had very clearly been used and just popped back into the pile waiting for the next person. You get what you pay for with All Inclusive holidays but this has to be by far the worst hotel I have stayed in for the food and everyone I spoke to said the same. I would avoid the restaurant. Theres a KFC across the roads which tasted unbelievable after 3 days of the food in Hotel Samos.
The €1 deposit for a plastic cup around the pool isn’t the best, €3.50 for cocktail we found was reasonable however this was due to us being all inclusive and getting the drinks for half price. The new rules in Magaluf now mean that if you book the All Inclusive package, you are limited to either 3 drinks of either Lager (locally produced Cruzcampo on tap), locally made Sangria or locally made wine. You are only able to get these during meal times (lunch and dinner) where you have to order from the bar located in the restaurant. You have to give your room number to the bar staff in order for them to keep track on how many drinks you have had.
The gym was good even though it was quite small. We didn’t use it as we weren’t sure if it was included in our packaged or whether we would be charged.
Overall I would not say this was a 4* hotel, it is definitely more of a 3*. There are definitely better places to stay in Magaluf.

Stayed in November with a friend. Prior to arrival the hotel was very helpful with any queries that we had. When we arrived at the hotel we were waiting a long time to check in approximately 20 minutes standing in the queue. We then went to out room but there were only 3 working lifts for the hotel. We were waiting another 5 minutes for the lift. We got to our room it was clean and spacious enough for two people. The bathroom door was just a sliding glass door. Just as well me and my friend were close! We were told as we booked via the website we would get a complementary fruit platter and water. What arrived was 2 bottles of water and a small side plate with some melon on.
Everything was closed outside the hotel. Even the fast food restaurants and many many bars.
While we were staying there was a huge amount of Spanish family's and kids for a Halloween weekend. The noise from these kids started at the crack of dawn. There was very little peace and relaxation.
The noise carried over to the pool and buffet areas too.
The buffet was below avarage. 3/10 at best. Lunch and dinner were basically the same food. Everything was luke warm nothing was hot even the food the described was prepared just for you. Coming home from my holiday I was looking forward to just a hot meal.
The bar staff were very friendly. You had to pay a 1€ deposit for a plastic glass. The cocktails were €4.50 a belive a pint of beer was €3.
The cleaning staff came to our room every day and offered to change our towels which we really appreciated.
Overall I would give the hotel a 6 out of 10 I imagine if it was peak season there would be a lot more of a buzz around and more things open to do.

We had such a good time. Good staff, very friendly . Swiming pool always clean and due to Weather was sunny the water was hot. The Stay was with all included, but its does not include alcohol on the swiming pool bar, but you can drink coffe or whatever drink you want without alcohol. Buffet restaurant for every meal with good variety and good food. Room has everything you need , and if you like to party it is near all bars in a 5 min walk. Near the beach like 5 min walking. If i come again in Mallorca i will choose the same hotel. Maria, Alexandra, Antônio, Jesus, Ricardo y outros muchas gracias 🙏😉

We stayed for 10 days at the beginning of June. I'd emailed in advance of our stay requesting a lower floor (having stayed previously on a higher floor) and our request was accommodated with a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the front of the hotel.
The room was ready when we checked in (a little after midday) and the air conditioning was on and so the room was nice and cool.

We stayed bed and breakfast and there was plenty of options every day including typical English cooked breakfast and continental breakfast, yogurts, cereals, fresh fruits and bread for toast. All very nice and well cooked.

The pool area is very spacious with plenty of sunloungers and seating at the bar area. 2 issues however- 1) the floor is very slippery so footwear needs to be worn and 2) although it is a nonsmoking area people ignored this and smoked anyway. The drinks were expensive too (€18 for 2 slushes with a shot of sambuca in). The entertainment staff worked hard and made the activities fun for everyone and there is a lifeguard on duty every day.

There was a lot of noise from the younger guests who played loud music throughout the night and would slam the doors too when coming and going. This didn't bother us as we were there to party too but it may bother older guests or those with children.

We will definitely stay at Samos again in the future and would recommend it to our family and friends but not those with young children.

The room was fine, great for an early get away. We were half board with plenty of food. The catering and cleaning staff were amazing, the kitchen cooked my meals fresh every day to prevent contamination, I just had to chose what I wanted the evening before. If you are not all inclusive there is a charge of E10 per visit for the indoor pool which I thought was extortionate especially as the pool is about 12ft square so not a swimming pool at all! Beach is very close and beautiful, such a shame the weather was so horrid. The area around looks run down and a bit seedy but it was mostly closed and May look better as the season opens up. The gym is basic, only heavy weights, no floor workout area, two running machines and bikes, the rest of the equipment is body building type. All kept clean with antiseptic spray and towels.

Me & missus went Hotel Samos 15 July 2020, just as some hotels were opening in Coronavirus times. We was slightly concerned how things would be with Coronavirus.
Everything was BRILLIANT.
The hotel is on top of it with Social Distancing & cleanliness & hygiene stations & assisted buffet. U still got the buffet, but u ask the chef what u want instead of picking big spoons up yourself.

Food was great, rooms great.
Main pool great.
1st floor relaxing walk in pool was great, loads of space.

Loads of sun loungers.
Great location for Magaluf.

If they can do this good in Coronavirus times, then in normal times, it will be a breeze.
I've been coming Magaluf 26 years, abut 30+ times, know it fairly well & this hotel great for what you want in Magaluf. Not Mexico 5 star luxury, but u won't get that in Magaluf or Palma Nova, nor much of Spain.

Rooms reasonable size, air con works good. TV's on wall.

Rooms on La Terracita area near walk in pool have great sun lounger area direct outside your door, your own 2 sun loungers.

Got very good modern gym too that you can do full session in there. I have to have a gym on holiday & this is the best hotel gym I've ever had.

Can highly recommend this hotel. Going back 31 Aug to same hotel.
