Stayed a few times here me and my husband. Really good location. Friendly cleaner. Regular fresh towels. coffee making facilities and a drinks vendor in reception. Room is clean, bright and beds are comfy. comes with a mini fridge and hairdryer. Tv is good. I would say its a top quality room. Excellent shower. We had a lovely balcony terrace with a table, chairs and sun longer. Perfect. You can sometimes here and see younger ones staying at the lively magaluf hotel but its fine not noisy for long quite quiet to say near the end off strip. Lovely food in restaurant next door and also supermarket staff underneath friendly and convenient with good prices. We will definitely be back again. Nothing like a hostal. Can use lively magaluf pool when its not closed.

I would like to say that this little hostal is perfect for a cheap stay in this area. It's only a quick bus ride from the airport and 5 mins from bus stop. We arrived and were greeted by a very polite gentleman who booked us in gave are room key and explained that the room would be cleaned each day also that the room had a fridge, kettle tea n coffee. Also we noticed that you had the use of beach towels very useful. The rooms were clean bright and bed comfortable. If your looking for a cheap stay in this area you can't go wrong with the jakiton. Don't expect 5 star service but clean and safe this will suit you down to the ground. I will be back next time I stay in this area.

We were looking for a cheap bed for the night due to arriving late before checking into our hotel the following day. Apart from drunk people arriving at all hours and having to listen to them stumble through the corridors and be sick the place was perfect. Unfortunately the walls must be very thin. Air con brilliant. Basic and old but clean. Mini fridge. Kettle with tea & coffee. Towels let the room down by being old and stained but they were clean. If you were planning on being one of those drunk people enjoying the strip just needed a room to crash in we would recommend as so much better than other 1 or 2 star places in the area which cost more.

We stayed for three nights in June and the hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff don't speak English but they were very helpful and did everything we needed including staying available for a very late check in, booking us a taxi back to the airport and arranging somewhere for us to change - doing all this in pidgin Spanish and with sign language was fun! The hotel itself is basic but stylish. The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning, a mini fridge and a somewhat small shower. Despite it being called a hostel, the rooms are all ensuite. It's a small hotel and they don't welcome groups and seem to have zero tolerance on noisy guests which is perfect given its location near the magaluf strip (it's a two minute walk). You can't get breakfast but there is an adjoining restaurant which had sporadic opening hours and there are hundreds of dining options within minutes. The beach is a five minute walk down some steps. Overall, can't fault the hotel and would definitely come back.

Just a quick one night stay here in Hostal Jakiton back in July as I live over the East side of the Island and of course we antes a night out in Magaluf without an overpriced one night stay! In the couple of hours we were in this Hostal we were checked in by a very lovely man at the reception who was very helpful! Our room was very lovely and clean also spacious which I think is very important, the view from the balcony was onto a lively hotel which was perfect for us as we got to listen to it while getting ready! Would definitely recommend this if you are just staying for a short period however if you are staying for a bit longer and wanting a pool maybe try elsewhere!

My partner and I arrived to Magaluf before the check-in time. I called the hostel and although I can't speak Spanish and a man at the reception could only speak English a little he was very helpful and told us we could come in and check-in an hour earlier. That was a very nice gesture. The room was small but nice and clean and exactly what we wanted. All staff were really nice and I'd happily book there again!
