Enjoyed my stay here. Used as a base for walking into Santa Ponsa/Costa de la Calma to see friends. Room was cleaned daily and was situated on ninth floor. Food was as you expect from an all inclusive hotel, buffet service. Also a snack bar at the pool bar. Staff were nice apart from one large shaven headed barman who I found to be a little bit rude. Location is a walk away from the beach and bars etc, though good transport links with buses right around the corner. All in all I enjoyed my stay here and would book again.

Just returned from a week here, the hotel was lovely and clean, especially the pool area and staff friendly especially Ana on the pool bar. Main let down was the lifts, we were on the 6th floor and my mother is 73 so couldn’t use the stairs. The lifts took ages, were small and doors closed quickly. The Spanish visitors would not hold the lifts for you. No kettle in the room (although you can hire one for 14euros) air con not switched on as we were told it wasn’t hot enough even though it was in the 20’s and our room was on the front of the hotel with the sun on it all afternoon, we were told by staff to just open the doors. You have to pay 45euros for the safe to only get 10euros back. As for the 2 drink limit at the bars, although that’s fine if you are a party of 2 but when you are a family of 4 it’s ridiculous. Miguel was friendly though. The food was repetitive and not a lot of choice for the kids other than pizza, chips which are served on the lunchtime but repeated on the night. I would consider staying here again but definitely not for a week and not with my family, it’s definitely a couple/friend hotel

Just got back from a 5 night break at the Mimosa and what a fantastic time me and my husband had. We arrived late and check in took only a few minutes. We had a beautiful sea view room on the 9th floor it was Spotless. The staff are very friendly and work so hard. The food is lovely and a lot of different choice even for the fussiest of eaters like my husband. The pool area is beautiful and kept to a high standard and the food at the snack bar is delicious - burgers hotdogs pizza chips salad are just a few things u can help yourself to throughout the day. That closes at 6pm and the bar inside opens at 6pm and there is entertainment on every night which finishes at midnight promptly and if u still have drinks left which we always did, you can go and sit in the hotel loby with them. The only minor complaint I have is the lifts there are just 3 of them and you can wait ages for them and they are very small. Overall we had an excellent time there and have already looked at booking for next April. Globales Mimosa Thank-you for making our holiday so wonderful.

The hotel itself was very clean and most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were a lot of people there that made us feel un welcome because we had a little girl with us but on the up hand there were 3 people that stood out to us that went the extra mile and made us feel more than welcome, Migel Angel one of the evening bar staff was absolutely fabulous with my little girl, she has a hard time bonding with people but by the end of the holiday she was giving him high 5s and waved him goodnight, he would kneel on the car and pretend to get her with the ice tweezers which was funny even for me, my little one really took a shine to him, and then the entertainment staff which was Katarina and the gentleman (I’m unsure of his name) but they are also absolutely fabulous with both us and my little girl, these 3 people made our holiday along with the maids who also always spoke and made a fuss of my little one. The food was okay but I didn’t feel there was much choice for kids. Maybe next time we will come back in the school holidays as I felt this was the reason we felt a little uncomfortable with some of the other guests.

On arrival the receptionist was friendly and a fast checking we were on the 3 floor room was nice and clean they was a fridge but no kettle when we booked it said there was a kettle as we like to have a cup off coffee on the balcony in the morning and afternoon we could rent one for 14 € if we new would have packed our travel kettle The food was ok but not very warm and off poor quality we were told this was because they had a lot off Spanish pensioners staying in the hotel 90% was Spanish and they get a budget of there government but we did find out they took over everything and some were rude round the pool was lovely clean well looked after there a snack bar and a pool bar but I must say the staff were all lovely and friendly we did enjoy our stay but we think we would avoid low season the only thing that let the hotel down was the food and the lifts are a issue but we were lucky as we were on level 3 yes we would stay again in this hotel but in season

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days with friends in March. On arrival and throughout receptionists were friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but clean and had nice balconies. Cleaning maids will enter your room even with do not disturb sign on door which was uncomfortable. Leaks in the bathroom made the floor wet but we just used towel to dry it. On our first night we were in bed and were awoken by security complaining we were being too loud. Complained to receptionists and were left alone the rest of the time. At this time the hotel was full of Spanish OAP’s who were incredibly rude to us throughout and would just give us dirty looks and stare at us all the time, so wouldn’t recommend coming here out of season. The pool was shut for first 4 days of our holiday and outdoor bar closed, again wouldn’t recommend out of season. Bar men were rude and unhelpful. Entertainment at night was perfect is you were Spanish and over the age of 70. Was outside and was approached by another guest staying there and he started verbally abusing my friends and I out of no where and when escalated to bar staff they did nothing. Receptionists reassured us if he caused further issues they would help. Food choice is very small for all inclusive and not good for fussy eaters and drink machines were always out of order but food was of good quality. Wouldn’t come back again and wouldn’t recommend.

This was my 4th or 5th time at the mimosa. I usually go with some girl friends and we always have a lovely stay, but this time I went with my partner and had an equally lovely stay. First of all, the hotel is spotless and the reception smells amazing. The food is always good and along with the basics i.e pasta and pizza, there is a different theme each night. I especially loved the sushi night! The pool area is a good size with no shortage of sun beds. The daily pool activities were fun, with no pressure to join in if you don't feel like it. The location is excellent with a short stroll to the beach, bars and shops. It's also close to the best mini golf I have been to. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Overall I definitely will be returning to the mimosa. The price is right and you get more than you pay for in my opinion.

one of the best parts about the hotel is the area it is in, plenty to do and only a short taxi ride into palma. other than this the worst part would have to be the food. we went all inclusive but would have been a lot smarter to go half board or self catering. the food is the same for each meal of the day, it’s cold a lot of the time and there is not a lot to pick from. some drinks machines were out of use very often and not fixed. lifts took forever as well as being TINY and only being 3 in the entire hotel. also the cocktail selection for all inclusive is poor. our room was cleaned only 3/7 nights by the maids. sun loungers needed attention and the pool was ICE cold the entire holiday. maybe it would be better in summer but for me it wasn’t great.

Solo Guest (18th > 28th of October 2023) I have just returned from a very pleasant second stay at the Globales Mimosa. Positives Staff are very friendly and helpful Hotel was spotlessly clean (room cleaned daily) Dining is a typical buffer arrangement, but the food is varied and is of a good standard. The theme nights were excellent (Sushi, Mexican, Italian, Asian, Spanish, to name a few). Food from the outside snack bar was fine for a quick bite. Plenty of sun beds and parasols, but no small tables. As it was the end of the season, some of the sun beds needed some attention. Animacion Team were good, which as a Solo traveler this essential (allows you to make friends). Negatives Long queues at the bar (evening), but was rectified by a third bar person. Lifts are small and are very slow. I think that they are being upgraded during the off-season Steps for the pool remain very wobbly Restaurant could really do with a plate warmer. Evening entertainment was mostly Karaoke, although they did have a magician who was pretty good. This was my second stay at the Mimosa and I will be booking again for next year (July when the weather is better).
