The hotel is very clean, staff all very friendly! Food leaves a lot to be desired. Hotel is basic.. but worth what we paid for a 4 night trip’ I travelled with my girlfriends, pool area very nice. And Valentin from the entertainment team, has been very attentive and polite, I don’t feel like we were being pushed too much to join in whereas some hotels can be like this.

Hotel's Favourite
We chose the AluaSun Torrenova for 1 night to celebrate our 21 year anniversary. Thank you very much to Jose for making our stay so perfect. We arrived mid morning and our room was ready! The whole experience from check in to check out has been faultless. Firstly the team. Jose on reception, as previously mentioned, was incredibly friendly and efficient. He made us feel so welcome. He made sure our special request of a sunny balcony was honoured and arranged a bottle of bubbly with a greeting message from the team for our room. A lovely touch, thank you. The room is an average size, in excellent clean condition, as is the entire hotel, and had a bath/shower. We upgraded to a pool view which I'd highly recommend. We opted for all inclusive. In this package you can dine in the main buffet restaurant for lunch, evening meal and breakfast. You can have unlimited soft drinks and hot drinks in the bar area all day until 11. 30pm.The hotel is in the zone where alcohol is limited to 3 glasses of wine or beer at lunch and dinner. The wine is on tap. Red, rose and white. The glass size is around 175ml I believe . Equivalent to a bottle and a half of wine between us for both our meals. Certainly more than enough to enjoy throughout your meal. Fresh cold water is also on tap. The restaurant is below the hotel reception . If I could change 1 thing, it would be to have some views from the restaurant. Sadly the glass is frosted so it is a little closed in but never the less, it is a very nicely decorated and furnished restaurant. The food has been a delight. When we arrived, Jose explained that we were 2 of only 6 guests all inclusive that day. Snacks are included on the all inclusive package too but because of the low numbers, any snacks we wanted could be cooked up fresh by the kitchen out of the restaurants opening times. To be honest, with the inclusive buffet meals, you really do not need to snack but we had skipped breakfast so we enjoyed a toasted cheese and ham sandwich and a cheese burger mid morning, both delicious. The buffet restaurant was very quiet for its first hour for lunch and dinner. I believe we were the only English guests with it being out of season and the Spanish do tend to dine later. When it did get busier, it didn't affect our experience. The food was regularly replenished. On the menu for lunch we really enjoyed the cannelloni pasta, array of fresh salad, all the different breads and cake for dessert. The evening buffet was even better. We had sweet and sour chicken drumsticks with rice, fresh salad and tiramisu with ice cream. There was a huge choice. You will not struggle to plate up a nice meal. We didn't stay for the entertainment so can't comment on that. Sally, the events manager, was so lovely to chat with. We mentioned at reception that we couldn't find any English TV channels when selecting the TV guide on the remote. Sally came up to our room after our evening walk and explained you're not to use the TV guide button on the remote but to simply press the program + or - button. Top tip! 😉 A good few channels found. We were lucky enough to get the weather to make use of the pool area. All of this area was very clean and well looked after. We slept well in the bed and found the mattress very comfortable. Yes, the live act can be heard until around 11.30pm but that's to be expected. It wasn't so loud that you couldn't fall asleep but we were on the fourth floor. Breakfast was okay. Again, plenty to chose from. Cereal, breads, fresh fruit, cheeses and cooked meats, pastries. The hot breakfast wasn't for us. You can't blame the hotel for catering for its clientele. The sausage and bacon was not to our taste. We didn't have a cooked breakfast but enjoyed what we did eat. We have had a fantastic 1 night stay and would most certainly return. Thank you for making our celebration such a memorable occasion.

Hotel is very modern and clean. The rooms are lovely and very clean. The hotel isn’t all inclusive as you only get 3 drinks for lunch and 3 for tea. However they don’t monitor it so you can have as many as you want really. The food is very poor as it’s just the same food every night, no changes. The staff are extremely friendly and will help you with whatever. You get a discounted price with the all inclusive wristband but it is still cheaper to go out as half pint of beer is €3.50 with the wristband. The dinner hall is full of locals who come in, they are very rude and will cut in front of you when you are waiting for food. The Snack bar next to the pool is better food then downstairs, however you need to go downstairs to get the drinks as you can’t take them out the dinner hall. The hotel is located on the top of hill but feels like a mountain so when booking take that into consideration. We left 11th April and it was starting to get really busy with groups. I don’t have kids but I would say they do a lot of kids events to keep them busy. Hopefully this helps.

We went to AluaSun at the start of April, the rooms where clean but but basic and when they came to clean the room they didn’t change the sheets only made the bed neat, the hotel itself looks pretty however the food options are limited and we found ourselves going out to eat each night as the food was repetitive (kinda defeating the point of all inclusive). We had a mixed experience with staff some were lovely and really nice and some we felt were staring at us. The pool is great and there’s loads of entertainment for family’s but personally this is a 3 star hotel not 4 and we will not be returning

Not a 4 star hotel - more like 3 stars Hotel - clean and modern, stylish, spacious, well laid out and what you want from a hotel which is good Room - rooms ok, a little tired but clean. The walls in our room had odd unfinished bits. The soundproofing is non existent, I was woke up every night by upstairs guests coming in from a night out, people shouting down the corridor and the TV in the room next to us. Really a big let down for a family travelling with a 1 year old who struggles to settle. You can also hear the party and disco from downstairs through the balcony. House keeping did come in everyday and do a great job at cleaning the rooms and corridors. Entertainment - good entertainment, shame it starts so late for the kids at 20:45, often running late so more like 9 Food - big let down with the food, the only thing I ended up really enjoying was the bread selection, this is why I feel it is more like 3 stars. You also aren't allowed to take any food outside to eat on the hot days and it was like an oven in there. Coffee was gross, all from a machine. Not alot of variety either. Who wants onion rings for breakfast? Location - great location for Palma Nova, it is a short walk to the beach and even though a steep hill on the way back no problem unless you have mobility issues. Lots of shops and bars and restaurants near by with whatever you need. Overall I would stay here again but not peak season, eat/drink elsewhere and bring earplugs!

Very disappointed - This hotel is far from a 4 star. The all inclusive is also not the case as you have to pay for alcoholic drinks, the receptionist will tell you on check in that you can have 3 drinks with your meal but this is not monitored, Food choices are also very poor with some foods not labelled. Entertainment ok if you have young children.

The staff have been amazing. They helped us with sorting an extra night when we potentially had no room, after our flights being changed. They were all very friendly. The entertainer was amazing and clearly loves his job. The hotel was clean and very modern. Pools were clean and well maintained. Out room was so big for the 3 if us, having a double and then another room with a double/twin and pullout bed. It's a short walk to the beach, bars and shops. It's very much a family hotel and had a great atmosphere. Just be aware that due to new laws all inclusive means 3 drinks each at lunch and evening meals. Soft drinks free all the time.

It’s supposed to be all inclusive, but they have the 6 drink rule. 3 x beer or wine with lunch and dinner. No option to have something different so I didn’t actually have any drink in the hotel, you had to buy all your alcoholic drinks but soft drink were free, after booking all inclusive i refuse to pay for drinks. Things like crisp ect was charged for? All in all a nice hotel but not all inclusive. 3 of us traveled, in room 2 cups, 2 tea bags, no coffee, no milk, no sugar? No bottled water in room? Food wasn’t great either, very limited choice for all inclusive. Entertainment was poor. Hotel was clean. I wouldn’t go back.

Went in March. Staff is amazing always happy to help - food is lovely in the restaurant. Pool was closed due to off season and no lifeguard but the beach is so close and other beaches are a little walk away. Walls are thin but honestly we just laughed it off. Full of different languages and they accommodate needs for infants, toddlers and young children. Would stay again perhaps during the ‘hotter’ months but no negatives for me with this stay

I spent a few weeks a the all-inclusive Hyatt AluaSun Torrenova in Palmanova Mallorca, Spain and could not have had a better stay. Despite getting a cold and despite the weather being a bit colder than expected, the staff at the Torrenova made my experience exceptional. From management to front reception to resort activities to my wonderful primary assigned housekeeping staff member to every member of the restaurant who served all of us with smiles and infectiously pleasant attitudes, my time at Torrenova could not have been more relaxing. As a Globalist, I did receive some benefits though not that which is typical because everything is all inclusive here. I will return to this property and try other AluaSun sister properties on future trips to Spain all because of my experiences here with the staff at the Torrenova.
