Aparthotel Aquasol seems to charm many guests with its prime location, perfect for families eager to explore nearby beaches, shops, and nightlife. The value for money is generally appreciated, though some guests mention inconsistencies. While the atmosphere is often described as welcoming and lively, there have been instances of disturbances and unprofessional staff conduct. Accommodations are basic, with commendations for the air conditioning and showers, but cleanliness can be hit-or-miss. Service is predominantly friendly, and the amenities, including a well-liked pool and dining options, are a highlight despite occasional overcrowding.

Lovely stay at aquasol apartments.
We stayed here for 10 nights from 11th April 22.
The guys on reception were absolutely amazing we got there an travelling with a friend we wanted to be close by each other an I previously requested a ground floor due to having a young toddler an a pram. The guy took a good 20 mins sorting this out for us. Which already meant he had gone above an beyond to sort this for us . An yes as previously mentioned in some reviews even the ground floors there are still stairs to have to get up an down but we were more capable of lifting the pram so wasn’t really an issue for us. We were able to put our luggage in the luggage room an go an have a bite to eat for lunch.
When we arrived back an our rooms were ready an can’t complain. They were big with a good size balcony, clean an everything we needed. The maids came every other day and changed the bedding, fresh towels if you left them on the floor (it does tell you this in the bathroom) which I totally get cause to be fair the first day we were there we never used our towels so didn’t need them changing. Overall a really nice spacious room. Yes as people mention it’s basic but for the amount of time you stay in your room then this is ideal.
We did have a few ants but not over run with them. So that was fine.
The pool area is lovely an very clean my only downside was that the baby pool is all one depth an was a little too deep for my 3 year old. Came to his waist which is fine but when he had his life jacket on he always tilted. So we literally only used the pool one day the rest we went to a hotel where my mum was staying. However if you have older kids then the pool would be great. Music is played all day until pool was closed between 5-6 which I think is a great touch. Entertainment team came round to play games but again as we didn’t use the pool can’t comment on any of them. Seen some darts, aqua bingo and dice throwing on the last day. Evening entertainment was ok we only really stayed for the kids part (mini disco, exotic animals and we played bingo a couple of times.
As for food we were self catering so we can’t comment on the restaurant but the food we had at the pool bar was really nice an tasty and good value for money.
Location is excellent literally a 5 min walk to get to the beach, shops and restaurants. Bus stop is right outside an we took a bus to palma for bout €4 each return.
Overall a really nice hotel an would return maybe when it was a bit warmer as pool was freezing when we did use it but that’s to be expected.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Juan at the front desk. As we left on our transfer coach we realised we had left my little boys toy story woody and Jessie talking characters on the wall outside I phoned straight away an he went an got them for me an arranged for them to be sent to my home address. Absolutely outstanding customer service an you are a huge credit to this hotel thank you again for all your help.

We returned just over a week ago, having arrived the day after the hotel reopened. The hotel was quite but got busier through the week. There was still plenty of room for sun loungers around the pool (which I think was heated - not warm but certainly not that cold shock you normally get!).

Everything was clean and tidy but, having just reopened, there were a few teething troubles. These were corrected as the week went on and the hotel was generous in their approach to us to ensure we felt valued. There is free good aircon (10 euro deposit for the remote) and a free safe in the room.

We had a one bedroom room, overlooking the pool, which was a decent size (2 adults and a 2 year old). The only downside was there was only sun on the balcony first thing in the morning.

We booked direct and (eventually) got free fruit, bottle of fizz and a 30 euro bar voucher (no one knew about this initially, even though it's all over their website!). There was also free wifi in the room. Breakfast was a bit steep at 9 euros but there were supermarkets a short walk away.

It's not far from 2 beaches or a walk to Magaluf. We were disturbed briefly at 4.30am by a big group but that didn't last long. There is also a covid test shop, for the test required before returning to the UK, just 2 minutes walk from the hotel and bookable on-line. This was 30 euros each.

Finally, the only thing I missed was easy access to a cheap washing machine (and no local launderette). They can arrange for a pick up/drop off service but this was a lot more expensive.

Overall, I would recommend the hotel, with the benefits of booking directly.

Came for a week over half term and on check in hotel seems very dated but staff were very attentive and friendly.
Our room wasnt ready so went for a snack and drink in the snack bar... Food was awful tasteless and under cooked.
We was given our keys to the 3rd floor overlooking the pool which was nice but the hotel as no lift and everywhere is steps.
Food in half board restaurant was very inconsistent, some days good, some days not so good (not terrible just not much choice)
Having to pay for drinks with evening meal wasnt great either and staff coming to collect plates every 2 mins and asking if youve finished whilst you're clearly still eating was very annoying.
Breakfast was better then evening meal.
Pool area was nice and entertainment staff did a great job, however the night time entertainment was dire!
Maids only cleaned the room every other day which is fine but clean towels daily would of been nice and they only came around to clean quite late so if wanted to go for a nap or a shower you had to wait.
Overall we had a good holiday as the hotel is in a great location and did have some good points but i dont think il return anytime soon.

We arrived 10th October for 7 nights. Apartment was M5, which was overlooking the gardens and balcony had sun pretty much all day. Apartment was spotless and very well equipped. Walk in shower was very powerful and always hot water. The beds were hard but that suited me. The only downside is the amount of stairs to get to our apartment, it was fine for us, but if you had small children with a pushchair or walking difficulties this would not suit you.
The pool area was very nice with plenty of sun beds, only negative was it did not open until 10am, which was ok for us as we had a sunny balcony.
The bar was ok although we prefer to go out in the evenings, we were self catering but did attend the Friday night BBQ which was 15€ per adult and included a free drink, the food was good and worth the money. We did buy a bottle of wine which was reasonable in taste and price.
The reception staff were friendly and polite as were the bar staff and entertainment guy. The maid was very thorough and came 3 times during our stay.
I had visited the apartments 5 or so years ago for a mini break with my daughters and we enjoyed it then too. There have been some improvements made and the apartments are well worth the money we paid.
I would not recommend to anyone with walking difficulties or using pushchairs unless you were guaranteed a ground floor apartment. But for anyone else I would certainly say try this place you won’t be disappointed.

I have very mixed view on these apartments. The morning after we arrived we noticed that our luggage was covered in ants, I went down to reception and requested we are moved as the apartment was below ground level in a dark apartment block. The gentleman on the reception said he had no apartments available but then after a while found a top floor apartment. I asked was there anyone available to Help us move and he told me “it wasn’t that type of accommodation”!!! I said we didn’t expect to have to move within a day of arriving. He rang someone and gave me the keys and a young chap helped us move.
All during our time there, the wheelchair/push chair ramps were closed and anyone with a buggy had to lift it up a lot of steps while the staff are looking and no reference to why the ramps were closed off. I could see no reason and it was open for the staff to use!!!
There was a thunder storm on one of the nights and we are in the buffet, omg it was horrendous. The bar staff were rude, sitting chatting to customers while others stood waiting to be served.
On a plus side, the pool was lovely, food at the poolside bar was really nice. The kids entertainment staff were trying their best to provide a service. The cleaning staff were very pleasant but beds weren’t changed during the week but we got fresh towels daily.
The reception staff, apart from the moving incident, were very nice and helpful and were very accommodating when printing off travel documents etc.
The nightly entertainment was good, albeit the kids disco starting at 9, I personally thought was very late!!!
The apartments were nice when in the block facing the pool, other blocks seem very dark and dreary.

To summarise, would I go back again-NO
Would I recommend the Aquasol-NO

2 friends who visited for a birthday weekend away.
Did the trick for what we wanted.
Didn't get a cleaner once for the 4 days even with the coronavirus panic.
Pool ISN'T heated so freezing cold.
Lady on the bar was the only member of staff to even acknowledge our presence (she made yummy cocktails too) the hotel shop was extortionate when the supermarket around the corner sold items for €3 cheaper.
All in all it felt dated, loads of steps and staff who don't want to talk to the english, lack of room cleanliness but good place to rest your head 💃🏼
*watch out for 10million pigeons that try to enter via your balcony door too

Dear Yasmin, Thank you for leaving your feedback on Tripdavisor. We are glad that you managed to have a quick break before the pandemic started. Indeed, during the initial Covid panic, government's regulations told us to only offer room cleaning on request in order to ensure minimum contact. By now, these rules have been revised and new cleaning protocols will be followed once we can reopen the hotel. Our guest's safety is our main concern! Our pool is not heated and the water's temperature depends on the outside temperature, which is indeed still a bit cold in march. The little convenience shop in reception (which is open 24 hours a day) cannot compete with the normal supermarkt prices, but is there for you in case you need something unexpectedly. We are sorry to read that our hotel staff did not meet your expectations but we still hope to welcome you in the future for your next holidays. We recommend you to visit us during the summer months, and you will see that the pool will have a lovely temperature! Kind regards

Leaving here at 6am, spent the last 7 days here, had the room A3 although found out we should have had D8 which they gave my sister, however I'm glad I got the room I did as it was a good view we had the sun the majority of the day on the balcony and it wasnt far up, what a lovely hotel, there is always something going on which entertained my son throughout the holiday. The rooms were very clean we had our room cleaned daily by vicky, my son loved her, she was very happy, polite and welcoming, my son is learning Spanish so she was speaking to him in Spanish and helping him with new words which he was very happy with, the staff in general were amazing and friendly.
We had our photos done by John who stays in the reception area, they're good quality and came back the night after with them, not only were they very cheap for the quality we got but he also made you feel relaxed when having them taken.
I am already looking at booking our next visit we enjoyed it that much. Thank you for the hospitality.

This was a little cheap break for my birthday. Emailed the hotel as they say around accessibility as we have 2 buggies. They did put us in one of their most accessible rooms but still a challenge. Steps up to main doors, steps from reception to main area, steps out of the main area either up to pool or down to fist blocks, steps to get up to any room anywhere so be warned you can minimise steps but there will always be steps. It is disappointing that they have a side entrance to cut most of the steps out but this was only told to us on our last night by a receptionist who watched us struggle in with 2 buggies. Of course we had been watched and ignored for the previous 3 days by everyone else. Drinks and food for self catering was mid range priced and average food wise but the caipirinha I had was lovely and fresh so a pleasant surprise. Rooms are dated but perfectly serviceable. Have everything you need and the most used UK channels on TV which was good. Pool area nice but pool was freezing. Decent location can easily get to either Palmanova beaches and restaurants and shops are close. We did have a few ants in the room which people have mentioned but not a major problem. I would just say be careful not to leave open food about that might then cause yourself a problem. Thank you for my lovely birthday break.

Just got back from hotel, there were 5 in our party so we had a 3 bed apartment which was really spacious we were half board but it had a kitchen area with fridge, hob and microwave so was equipped enough for s/c the bedrooms were a good size with plenty of wardrobe space. Nice size tv with English channels. The A/C was a godsend, the rooms were very clean with good maid service, the beds were a bit on the hard side but not really a problem. All the staff were very friendly and David on reception was very helpful, if you need to know anything then ask him. There is a testing centre a 10 min walk and they charge €30 for test and results in 15mins and will give you a print out if you ask. The beach is a short walk with lovely white sand, shops bars and restaurants are a short walk from hotel and lots of supermarkets. we went to Western World water park which is a short taxi ride at €6 and def worth a day there although the food was very pricey. €15 for hot dog! so take you own!
The food at the hotel was buffet style with a very good choice each night. There is bingo, quiz and entertainment each night.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff were exceptional and very helpful. Tony G the barman was so nice and funny and always remembered what drinks we had. Food in the restaurant was extremely nice. Always lots of choice and proper sausages at breakfast. Very rare lol. Always a huge fruit selection and the desserts were delicious. Definitely a step up from the usual Spanish cakes. The fresh orange juice squeezer was an amazing touch and so delicious.
Our room was lovely. Nice big size. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. There wasn't an iron but asking at reception did the trick. Towels changed daily if needed and beds made. Safe is free and WiFi free all over the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely return. The only downside I can think of is there are a lot of steps, no lifts or ramps so not wheelchair friendly. Apart from that, there was nothing else wrong. It's in a fabulous location, literally 3 mins walk to the beach and a bus stop right outside. Will definitely be back.
