Hotel's Favourite
We gave the hotel 5 stars because it was excellent from start to finish, it was spotlessly clean & the STAFF were absolutely incredible from front of house to the lovely ladies who cleaned your room & no matter what you asked for nothing was to much trouble & everything was done with a smile on their faces , the staff who looked after you around the pool area were truly excellent whether you wanted an umbrella moving or a drink or food they were always coming round & checking you were ok , another thing we thought was very nice staff came round with nice touches such as ice cold face clothes to cool you & little offerings like smoothies & little food samples, special mentioned to the front of house team as no matter who was on the desk or concierge they always had a smile on their faces & always were willing to give you time when answering your questions, the food overall was very good with excellent breakfast menu ( hot or cold ) and as I said earlier the food choice around the pool was also good , we went to both the BBQ evening & the special Majorcan evening which was delicious BUT our own observation was the hotel did not promote it to their guests enough because in talking to the team who looked after you at dinner or special evenings they said that the clientele did not come in for dinner & mostly went to the port for food at night which we totally understand as there was a large selection of restaurants down there but it was sad that with the talented chefs that the hotel has that more guests did not come in & take advantage to come in for dinner, as many reviews have said the port is no more than 15/20 mins away walking down to it or 10 mins by taxi but taxis do take time in coming especially at peak busy times we thought the hotel could offer a shuttle bus to take guests down to the port maybe 2/3 times a day & pick up a few hours later adding to the special services the hotel offers , my wife & I are in our late seventies & we wondered if the hotel & its clientele were going to be to young for us to be there but the diversity of the guests young or old we felt really very much at home of course one can always look to improve things as nothing is perfect as the pool can be crowded at times & as one reviewer said people stood in the pool talking & drinking rather then swimming which at times became frustrating but one is on holiday & time is irrelevant.
Overall we can highly recommend the hotel for its cool laid back atmosphere & beautiful design to it’s beautiful appointed suites ( we stayed in the Grand Suite ) were everything was thought of & lovely bathroom accessories ( products by BULGARI ) to bottles of water every night by your bed side .
Who ever owns the hotel & introduced the training regime to keep the staff as on the ball & attentive as they are have down a brilliant job so many congratulations to them & my wife & I will DEFINITELY return & have sang the hotels praises to family & friends & we tell our travel agency about our superb holiday.

Incredible from start to finish.
Beautiful, airy, well-designed, contemporary hotel, spotlessly clean with amazing views and impeccable service.
The first thing that stood out was there wasn’t a reception where you had to stand waiting to check in. When we arrived we sat on some lovely chairs and was offered a cava/water, then the hotel manager (Benjamin) came over, introduced himself and greeted us. Our car was parked for us and luggage taken from the car and put in our room before we even got to it.
Rooms are beautiful, airy and large and the bed is super comfy with a good sized balcony. Complimentary toiletries are Bvlgari and we got some fancy chocolates on arrival in our room.
Exceptional, extensive buffet breakfast, local meats, cheeses, yoghurts etc and a menu to choose what ever hot breakfast dish you would like.
Pool area was beautiful, with enough beds and lunch options and cocktails were delicious
Location is 6-10 min walk from bars, shops, restaurants and 5 Euro in a taxi to the port or about 20 min walk (on a steep hill).
Cannot fault this hotel and special mention to Benjamin who made sure the hotel had a personable touch and was always available.
If there would be one thing I could improve would be a drinking water tap, as other than at breakfast we were only given one small bottle each on turndown service. But this is no biggie!
100% recommend this hotel.

The best kept secret in Mallorca - Portals Hills is a small, boutique hotel yet it encapsulates luxury and bespoke service presented in rich Mallorcan hospitality. Tucked away on the hill above Portals Nous village, it makes for an idyllic getaway. Inspired by contemporary Miami, the lavish hotel has very nicely presented minimalist rooms. The two bedroom Fendi Penthouse suite is something else ! But what really sets the hotel from the competition is the superb service, from the moment you are welcomed by the valet, every single member of staff cannot do enough to make your stay perfect in every way. The quiet yet vibey pool is amazing for chilled out days and the poolside staff are always on hand to make sure the champagne is topped up ! Special mention must go to Carlos who looks after the restaurant and pool, he runs a superb team ! The hotel is just a short walk or taxi ride to the famous Puerto Portals marina with it's upmarket restaurants, bars and shops - well worth a visit. Already looking forward to our next trip which is booked for next year !

Having recently returned from a wonderful holiday week away in the sunshine celebrating our son’s birthday… we had to write a glowing review of this superb “Portals Hills Boutique Hotel” 5 minutes from Porta Portals and 10 minutes from Palma - the best location ever …
Our first impressions of our initial arrival at the hotel soared after being greeted by the most professional of front of house gentlemen “Daniel and Dominic” whom attended to all our needs at checking in and showed us to our splendid rooms overlooking the sea with a lovely balcony .. Daniel had previously acknowledged our pre arrival email booking all of our beach clubs and restaurants in advance in a most charming manner. During our weeks vacation all of the staff in all areas were absolutely fantastic , friendly, professional with nothing ever being too much trouble.
The pool area had the most relaxing atmosphere with comfortable sun loungers and on tap cold drinks at hand and a really appealing menu and cocktail list for late lazy afternoons.
Breakfast was equally excellent with an array of choices and personal service.
The white hotel offered everything we wished for and we cannot wait to return.
The owners should be very proud of their first class service from all of their staff

This is the best hotel I've stayed in, in Portals Nous and have been going 12 years. I loved the personal approach from EVERY member of staff. Rooms were lovely, great views from the balcony. The food was fabulous, to the point where we ate there every lunchtime rather than eating out. Breakfast was lovely as well. The pool and sun bathing area was very nice indeed. It was like our own little beach club. In addition to the towels, I watched the staff launder ALL the items from this area, including sun lounger pads, curtains, the whole lot every day which makes you feel a lot safer. They could not have done more to make our stay as wonderful as it was. Will be re-booking here again and again!

How could I even begin to explain what a fantastic hotel this is? Given that every single member of staff consistently exceeds expectations singling out any one of them would be unfair. In response to our request for early arrival and a late departure, the hotel kindly accommodated us on both counts.
We spent each day lounging on the poolside Bali beds and enjoying the delicious food and beverages available at the pool. (The taste of the food is incredible!!). The pool area is an oasis.
We arrived on the night of the barbecue night, and the wait staff was really kind and took the time to explain each dish we ordered.
This hotel pays careful attention to the smallest of details; for example, since we would occasionally shower in the middle of the day, our hotel room was cleaned not once but twice. The hotel is conveniently located near the port. The wonderful staff provided us with excellent recommendations for eateries in the port area, and their selections did not let us down in the least. It's the next best thing to having a personal butler. We would like to express our gratitude to each and every member of the team for their contributions to making this trip an exceptional one.

We enjoyed a fantastic family holiday for ten nights at Portals Hills…the hotel is very clean with attention to detail in every area . There is a great team of friendly staff led by Benjamin, all were extremely helpful and accommodating. The restaurant offers a variety of well prepared food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and did not disappoint. Just a few minutes by car or alternatively a 20 minute walk to the port the hotel provides a comfortable retreat from the bustle of Portals Nous.
We will definitely be back and thanks to all for making our
stay most enjoyable.

Having had all our plans tipped upside down this year, like everyone else ,our visit to The Portals Hills Boutique hotel was not planned /recommended or well researched , so we had the most fabulous treat !
If you are visiting Puerta Portals, then I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is Perfectly placed ,in a hilltop location , with a spectacular view a few minutes taxi ride to the bustling Marina.
Understated glamour is reflected throughout the hotel , rooms and poolside with white and Gold decor …contemporary, but retro. The hotel is spotless throughout .
The food at both breakfast , lunch snd dinner is served beautifully and although tte menus are not extensive , the chefs are happy to help you recreate your own dish if you want a bit more variety. As a vegetarian this was great for me.
What makes this bijou hotel so special is the staff.
From the moment we arrived we were given a very special welcome , and throughout our stay every receptionist( with special mention to both Laura’s) Porter/ waiter went over and above to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Having spent much of lockdown learning Spanish , everyone humoured my attempts to practise , and we had a lot of laughs.
The poolside waiters work tirelessly to ensure that you are constantly waited on . Aida was a star and particularly stand out was Miguel . Miguel ran the poolside with effortless excellence . Always smiling , and engaging, nothing was ever too much trouble .
The managers of the hotel Katrin and Daniel are also very present and hands on at all times , and they are all so helpful with anything help you may need .
We enjoyed our week so much that we extended for another week. I celebrated my Birthday while I was there , and again the staff went out if their way to make sure I had a special day. The spa , is small and compact , but not to be underestimated. I had one of the most wonderful facials and massages from their incredible therapist.
The poolside area / terrace is small, but again perfectly formed and there was never a shortage of sunbeds.
While we were there , many of the guests interacted , and we met many lovely people . Most of who were rebooking later in the season , as like us their stay had been exemplary .
We travelled with family , so my eleven year old daughter was entertained , but this is largely perfect for friends, couples and we saw a few small babies who enjoyed a little dip .
Despite the chaos of holidays this year the total upside was that we found this little jewel in Mallorca and we will certainly be back.

We pride ourselves on making sure each and every guest is well looked after. You are correct in that our menu is quality over quantity. At the same time, if one has a special request, we will be happy do everything possible. Thank you for your kind personal words to so many of our team - I will ensure to share those with Miguel, Kristin and Daniel. Your Spanish also improved hugely over the course of your time with us. Oh my days what a fabulous boutique hotel, a surprise for my husband, celebrating our anniversary and his 60th birthday. On arrival to this glamorous find we were greeted with a smiling young man who immediately took our luggage and sat us down with a glass of fizz and some water. We arrived early so the room wasn't ready but it wasn't a problem. We grab some lunch in the port and strolled back getting our bearing to what restaurants were around the area. The receptionist took us up to our penthouse suite ,what a delight to be greeted with, decorated with rose petals, balloons, chocolates and champagne to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary ❤️ 🥂.
The room was above standard, immaculately clean with bvglari products. The staff are above and beyond excellent. So friendly, nothing is too much trouble for any of them and always have a smile on their faces. Breakfast was healthy, and freshly cooked for you. We have lunch everyday , i asked for prawn tacos ( not on the menu ) the staff checked with the chef and he gladly cooked these for us. The sunbeds and miami style brollies around the pool were class. We had late checkout and used the courtesy room, again immaculate with products for you to use, hairdryer and fresh towels. Indeed we will be back, highly recommended 🤩🌴🥂
