We were treated — with kindness, with luxury, with nature, with upgrades, with solution based thinking, with recommendations, with smiles, with a great breakfast. We booked a junior suite and eventually moved into the owners suite, for it suited what we were looking for best. Every evening we found yummy high quality treats from fruits, to local ham and cheese, wines, you name it. The breakfast was holistic and healthy, rich and friendly, situated on a beautiful terrace amidst lush nature. We explored the island to always come back to this garden of serenity and peace. Furniture and all bed linens are of natural materials, which is so rare these days. The pool area, the spa, all so well taken care of equipped, with beautiful design and in a Mallorcan style. At the end we were even asked, what the hotel could do better …. I mean that is hospitality. And for a great price, compared to most. We will recommend the place and maybe even return one day, when returning to the island. — Muchas Gracias to the entire team. —

A beautiful hotel and perfect if you need to get away from it all and totally switch off. Beauty can be found at every turn. The warmest of welcomes at our late arrival after 10pm although I wouldn't recommend driving there so late in the darkness as the road is quite tricky, but a great night sleep in the comfiest of beds, crisp white linen and amazing pillows was just what was needed. A calming meditation from Claudia and her magnetic energy on the spa terrace followed the next morning making for a perfect start to any day surrounded by the spectacular scenery. And a late lazy lunch with Lluigi one of 3 resident peacocks rounded off an exquisite start to our trip here in Majorca. The staff are warm and engaging from reception to the general manager. We will be back.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, always ready to make my experience as pleasant as possible. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. I will definitely be returning to this hotel whenever I get the chance. Wonderful hotel isolated in middle of nature reserve in valley surrounded by trees without a house in sight. Reached by a very rough 6km road from the nearest village. We negotiated it carefully and slowly in a fiat 500. Most of the rooms are set into the hillside. Many have balconies or terraces overlooking the forest. The rooms are well equipped, the outdoor and spa are nice, and both outside and inside restaurants are pleasant. The staff are happy and helpful, but from our previous experience of small rural hotels on mallorca, they and the service are not up to 5* level. Whilst we were there, the nearby electric substation was hit by lightening, putting the whole of the hotel out of power. The staff worked remarkably hard under difficult circumstances to maintain service. We understand that the hotel was taken over by new management a fortnight earlier, and they appear to appreciate our criticism. We truly hope they are able to put things right or alternatively reduce * rating and the prices and therefore expectations.

I went there from London with 5 of my best friends to celebrate my birthday. I couldn't have chosen a better place!!! The whole team at the hotel are first of all very friendly making us feel at home but also very helpful. Nicolas, the general manager is doing a great job putting this team together. Maria your smile is contagious, Luis, Daniel, Federica, Pedro, Juan Carlos and Julia were always ready to make our experience a special one. The chef and sous chef were cooking delicious food, always well presented, with an extra touch. The hotel team as a whole was the best one I ever came across through my travels around the world!

We had an incredible stay at Ratxo. What a beautiful, peaceful and stunning location. We stayed in the beautiful junior suite with a nice balcony overlooking the retreat. We enjoyed the spa every day. On our second day we went for a morning trail run towards Es Capdella, very nice surroundings.
We also enjoyed the free yoga/stretching class, great instructor and a stunning view from the roof terrace of the spa.
Roots, the restaurant was very good with 0 km food that was very tasty! The breakfast buffet had it all. Very good food across the board.
The best of all was the Ratxo staff. 5 stars all the way! The reception staff, Lluis the hotel manager who gave us the welcome tour and welcomed us to our room. Lluis the food and beverage manager, a true professional! And thank you Tim for all the information and your friendly attitude. And last but definitely not least Nicholas the director, a real gentleman that made sure our stay was perfect.

My wife and I made our way to Ratxó after an unexpected issue with our original reservation at a different location. If I would have known about Ratxó then we would have booked here from the start. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The staff, the grounds, the atmosphere, the food, the rooms were all top notch. We were only at Ratxó for two nights but easily could have stayed longer.
After being very bummed to find out something went wrong with our original booking, and that they were unable to accommodate our full stay there, we were amazed when we finally made our way to Ratxó and were given a tour. This place is truly a Retreat and you should expect such when you arrive there. Snug in a valley of the Tramuntana Mountains lies Ratxó and it is the perfect place to escape to with stunning mountain views and a peaceful aura throughout. I wish we could have stayed longer and I believe that everything happens for a reason. As unfortunate as the beginning of our trip to Mallorca began, it quickly turned into a blessing and I'm glad we ended up at Ratxó.
Thank you to everyone at Ratxó that made our short stay there a memorable one. If we ever get a chance to return to Mallorca, I will make sure we make our way back to Ratxó.
