The important thing to remember when you book to stay here is that check in and check out is at the Iberostar hotel just round the corner. The reception at the Bahia is more of an information centre and is open from 10am until 6pm only. You have to pay 50 Euros per person as a deposit when checking in...

Just got back from Cay Beach Papagayo and enjoyed every minute. This is our 2nd stay and love the area for great walks. The only downside I would comment on is the apartments are on various levels and connected by a lot of steps Apartments are very clean (I have said it is accessable by wheelchair and this is by several ramps).

General look of the hotel is OK, but the longer you look the more downsides you will see. The room and the bathroom were rather clean and tidy. Unfortunately the housekeeping dosen't work seven days a week, so not everyday you will get a fresh towel! They also don't clean the floor in the room, so once it gets dirty...

All staff very friendly and helpful. No maid service thursdays & sundays. Bit isolated but there is a bus service to Playa running every half hour from right outside complex. Lovely promenade walk into Marina & into Playa but its quite a walk, we used to catch the bus into playa where there are plenty of bars & restaurants &...

I booked a week away in late Feb through teletext holidays, this hotel wasn't my 1st choice but it was recommended by TT holidays and was within budget. The hotel is in 2 parts, we are actually in the Bahia part and our reception closes at 1800, the reception for the upper part of the hotel is 24/7 and is...

Just back from here & I must say I was very pleased with this place. Very clean inside & out. Lovely pool which was a pleasure to swim in as it was heated. Staff at pool bar very friendly. Had food at the bar which was always cooked fresh & was tasty. We were friends away on a break so...

How I agree with the comments from other people who went here. It was deplorable, doesn't even deserve one star! We have never commented badly on a resort ever, however, this is an exception. The hotel is split into two parts, with fully inclusive only being able to access one half of the hotel without paying. Imported alcohol was premium,...

This is definitely not a 4* resort, to be honest since we arrived at the hotel it's been nothing but a disappointment. Like other reviewers have mentioned the marina is only a short bus ride away and we have spent most of our time there, we haven't eaten lunch or dinner here so can't comment the breakfast has some really...

Used the hotel as a stopping place preferring to eat out in local restaurants therefore only required decent accommodation and breakfast each morning. This is an apart hotel therefore our room had simple kitchen facilities which included microwave and electric hob. The only time we used this was to boil the kettle for a cup of tea. The accommodation was...

Arriving to this property was a very nice surprise as it was much better than I expected (after looking it up on internet and through the reviews. It is working as a complex - upper part is Iberostar and Cay Beach is actually named Bahia Playa Blanca. You may need to chack-in at Iberostar as the Reception in Bahia works...
