We have been to this hotel at least 7 times. We are always completely satisfied, we have never encountered any problem. The gym included in the price is more than sufficient and the beach, which is right next to the hotel, is almost empty outside of weekends. The entire hotel, including the swimming pools, is guarded and can be entered with a card. It is more of a hotel for the elderly, you will not meet very "screaming" children. The best are restaurants and bars near the hotel, as well as clothing stores.

Absolutely luxury accommodation,rooms have loads of space,plenty of storage,even a wardrobe with a light,security safe and superb extra large bed and jacuzzi.Bathrooms have huge walk in showers and loads of room with sinks toilet etc.The living area has all facilities,oven,fridge freezer,dishwasher &washing machine and toaster,kettle etc,dining table,sofa bed,chair and TV in all rooms. The balcony is huge with sunbeds and table and chairs. Cleaners do a brilliant job,changing towels etc and cleaning The resort itself is superb,if you want active,you’ve obviously got the best Golf course on the island,gym,pools etc but if you want to relax you’ve got a superb restaurant,coffee hut and variety of pools There’s a free shuttle bus to the Beach at Anfi Del Mar that runs daily.The reception staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant staff are excellent. Anfi Emerald is an excellent resort for a relaxing break. We stayed in apartment 302, a spacious 2-bed apartment overlooking the golf course. The apartments are nicely furnished with almost all amenities you could need (no oven). The balconies are huge & well furnished. The apartment was spotless, bins emptied & cleaned every day. The resort is a little isolated, you need a car to explore, shop & eat out. However, Porto Rico is only a 10 minute drive away, where there are ample supermarkets, restaurants & shops. We arrived after 9.30pm & during check in discovered the restaurant closes at 10pm & the on-site Spar at 8pm. Wi-Fi is 15 euro per week & works well. The car park was free due to the barrier being broken, but ordinarily there is normally a charge.

We had a brilliant time at anfi as usual. We stayed in the penthouse this time and it exceeded all our expectations. The one bedroom apartment was huge with an extra sofa bed in the living area and a jacuzzi in the bedroom! A very well equipped kitchen caters for all your needs complete with dishwasher and washer dryer. The outside area of the penthouse which gets the sun all day is completely private with large areas for dining outside, a jacuzzi and 4 loungers and a seated area. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant serves very reasonable breakfasts and meals and a happy hour every day. Anna and her team really made our holiday - the lady herself keeps the party atmosphere going- we had great craic and chats with her and she goes the extra mile to ensure everyone has a good time. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Absolutely horrible experience. Attending to go to the driving range and then a dip in the pool, security guard told us to go to reception, then we were told we cannot swim here but can spend our money. Very rude receptionist, unwelcoming and snooty atmosphere. 0/5

A beautiful place with gorgeous views of the golf course and surrounding mountainous area. We aren't golfers but just went for a relaxing week in the sun. We were not disappointed, it was just so lovely. Plenty of sun loungers so no early morning get ups (!) which is always top of our list. Totally relaxing! We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was beautiful and kept spotless with everything we needed for our stay. We bought food for breakfast and drinks from the adjoining Spar which, although expensive, was very convenient. The balcony was very spacious and had sun loungers, a clothes rack and a dining table and chairs. We ate out most of the time, three nights staying in the hotel dining at La Cascada which I've done a separate review for. The food was excellent! Housekeeping was fantastic and all staff very friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to go back here, it was wonderful!

Our room on the 5th floor (room 503) was fabulous. The balcony was huge, with 2 sunbeds (could easily fit a couple more) and a table for four, it was private and perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Anfi Emerald is quiet, not like Anfi del Mar, so don’t expect entertainment and shops etc (although there’s a Spar on site for food & drink) it was perfect for time to chill and relax. A spa bath in our bedroom was a blast & a huge shower in the bathroom a real bonus. Good kitchen facilities, good television (BBC and ITV) and excellent WiFi. Not much in the area so again don’t come here expecting to be entertained (apart from the golf course, which is huge - if you’re into that). Fabulous pools and a decent restaurant. Would return again tomorrow!

We had another great holiday at Anfi. The Emerald complex is quiet and luxurious. The staff and service are impeccable. We have been members of Anfi Emerald for over 5 years now. The membership does what it promises - the timeshare was shown and explained to us in detail. We have experienced nothing else up to now. I don't understand why so many people are writing so negatively about it. No one is forced to do anything at Anfi -> if you read everything carefully you will understand the timeshare system better. Timeshare at Anfi is reputable -> unfortunately there are also negative companies here that offer timeshare and do not keep their promises. That is definitely not the case with the Anfi Group!! Everything is honest and reputable. There is always someone available for questions, bookings...
Advantages of the Anfi Group timeshare: - Rooms and facilities always in top condition - If something breaks, the Anfi Group will repair it - No other costs such as insurance, electricity, water, garbage, internet... - Anfi points system gives everyone great flexibility when planning their vacation - Nothing expires, as the points can be carried over to the next year - Shares purchased at Anfi do not expire - can be passed on to children; grandchildren...
Conclusion: Nobody is forced to sign up here. The costs are transparent and open If that doesn't appeal to you, you can do something else with your vacation. -> But if you are not prepared (or cannot) to invest the money, just stay calm and quiet and don't post any lies online. The place and the people working at the facilities is just amazing. The time share apartments are great.
On the other hand after spending 15+ years with no challenges we just got one of out two weeks because of the terrible lack of service from Vacation Club. They don't answer emails for months and after 30 min waiting on calls you get a voicemail. In addition they mess up your Vacation weeks putting all responsibility to you, and do not take action on their own lack of proceeding requests from their guest. I have two weeks and been a long time satisfied customer but will after this Vacation not recommend to buy a week from Anfi.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff in la cascada were friendly and made us feel welcome. Will hopefully come back again and for longer than a week. Food and drink was well priced. And the shop spa was very handy for the english tea bags.
