Pension Torrent is a good place to sleep in the center of L'Escala. It's close to the beach, the city center, the bus stop... at walking distance of the ruins of Ampuries. The room was very clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff is nice. Wifi connection is quite good. The only bad point is on the soundproofing of...

Really good place to base yourself, location is great for the shops and the sea, parking right outside the Pension and really helpful staff/owner. Rooms are very clean, beds really comfortable and even though you are near the church (and the bells), when the blinds are down or windows shut you can hardly hear. Would definitely recommend.

This was just perfect for my short stay in L'escala. After a week in hostels, it was a relief to get my own room - for about the same price that I paid for a dorm bed in Barcelona! The friendly innkeeper lady gave me a warm welcome. The room was very nice and convenient, incredibly so considering the cheap price....

What a great little place to stay, we have already recommended it to friends who are planning a visit to L'Escala. In the old town a few 100 metres from the beach front and restaurants. Parking can be found in some of the side streets around the pension, but there are parking areas a bit further away. They owners are...

I stayed at this pension for one night in May. We were 3 people so we took a triple room that included one double bed and one single bed with a decently sized bathroom attached. There was no wifi in the room but in the lobby it was quite quick. This pension was extremely close to the beach, 2-4 minute...

We stayed in this pension for 2 nights in April. We had a spacious room with a seperate room with two bunk beds plus ensuite. The room was incredibly good value for money. Breakfast is not included or served but there are many small cafes nearby. The pension is located in the old town area, two minutes walk from the...

My wife and I stayed at Pensio Torrent for three nights. The Pensio is run by a mother and son and is exceptionally clean if basic. It is a terrific value for under $40 per night. We stayed in Room 203 on the top floor, with a small balcony overlooking the street. The nights were quiet and peaceful, with any...

My boyfriend and I spent a night in this hotel. The woman who runs it was very friendly. It was a medium sized room, with a small balcony. There were no frills, but it was very clean and I'd stay again if I was in Costa Brava, as it was a much cheaper option than many other towns along the...

My boyfriend and I spent some days in L'Escala and slept at Pension Torrent. This little hotel is the ideal place for people who spend the whole day on the beach or visting the surroundings: the room is very little and essential but very clean and next to the beach. The madame is very kind and helpful (she doesn't speak...
