Had a comfortable, modern, and spanking-clean room here for two nights as we were beginning our walk on the Camino de Santiago. The staff was professional and helpful. Great breakfast. There is a very good restaurant associated with the hotel, proposing a wide variety of offerings, including some very tasty Galician specialties. Within walking distance of everything in town.

This hotel is close to the train station but I would have preferred to be close to the fun section of Sarria old town, where there is a cobbled street with a lively atmosphere. One reviewer I noticed hadn't found the charming old town which is a pity as it's full of bars and a beautiful church. If you stay...

1* hotel. Friendly reception. Rooms are clean and functional. Restaurant is excellent with 4 star choice & service. The food is top class & not at all what I was expecting from a 1* hotel. Without doubt the best restaurant in town.

Very nice looking hotel with a small sunny terrace. Friendly staff but limited English, however they were extremely helpful and kind. Good sized room, very clean. The hotel is built on a slope so to get to the restaurant you have to go outside and down a set of steps. We were disappointed with the food but maybe we were...

Finding the hotel from the bus station was easy and about a five minute walk. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Rooms were a decent size, bed was comfortable. Clean and basic. We were in the front of the hotel so there was a little noise from the road late at night and early morning. The cafe was a...

Perfect location coming off the train. We stayed for two nights in a newly refurbished end room on 3rd floor overlooking the train station and it was surprisingly quiet. The very clean room has a built in wide ledge on 2 walls which was perfect for organizing and storing personal items as well as large open closets that accommodated trekking...

Comfortable and friendly place to stay. Helpful front desk and nice cafe style breakfast room. Nice sitting out area with a drink and conversation with other guests. Evening meal can be taken at adjacent restaurant down some steps and the menu and food were great. An excellent venue to spend the night before starting out on the Camino......would recommend.

The week we spent walking the Camino is a bit of a blur and I can no longer remember the details of the room- however, I don't remember having any complaints and it was certainly clean. I did not hear the train so I must have been sleeping soundly. The back garden is a lovely place for a drink and...

Our accommodation for the night (start of La Camino). A great room overlooking the small train station and hills behind. (I did hear the Express train in the night) however not a problem the scenery is just perfect. It's in the Town and a good place to start as there are shops and supermarkets very near. We had our dinner...

The hotel and our bedroom were clean and quiet, despite the nearby railway station. It's extremely handy if you arrive by train to start your Camino in Sarria. The front desk manager, or maybe he's the owner, was very cheerful and helpful in booking and directing us to an open restaurant when most of the town was closed for its...
