Detailed Reviews
The beds where horrible. So low and soft, did not sleep at all.
They said on the phone, on the same day we got there, we could check out late(17:00) but when we got there later that day it was not possible and had to leave at 11:00.
The bathrobe in the room is apperently 12,50 to use, did not know that..i think thats not normal in a 4star hotel.
The view was verry nice and breakfast also good.

The view is really nice but we could not really enjoy it since it was raining. The bed sleeps horrible and it was kind of dusty when we came in. But after my request to clean the floor they did and made it comfortable for our toddler. We were really happy with the housekeeping. The bathroom is really basic but clean. Nothing fancy. At the dinner arrangement they were considerate with our food allergies. But they gave us fish for two days in a row. Also as a big eater it was not enough for me. The breakfast is the worst. There is absolutely no choice and all the things look really old and bad. With my lactose allergy and non-meat diet I could not eat ANYTHING except eggs. The guy who worked on 8th october in the morning even made a rude comment when I asked for more options. I would not go back to this hotel.

My wife booked us a room so we could be on the water for a night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have been recently renovated so they are in good condition. The negatives are the very depressing fountain out front that is filled with slimy green water that has a terrible odor. The patio for drinks and food does indeed have a great video but the planters filled with dead plants and the walls covered in spiderwebs indicates that maintenance on the property isn't great. The rooms smelled like insect repellent had just been sprayed so another indication that the hotel isn't run properly. Another negative is that the hotel has no direct path to the beach so in order to access the beach you have to walk out of the property and all the way around. Close but no cigar.

My girlfriend, myself and our dog Babs stayed in this hotel for two nights during Covid-19 lockdown times. We had breakfast and a 3 course diner both days, which were all excellent. The staff was really friendly and were taking all the Covid-19 rules very seriously.
The hotel is next to the Veluwe lake and you can walk to the beach from the hotel as well. Harderwijk is the closest city, and is lovely in the summer/spring. Now it was really cold and quite on the streets.
The hotel is close to National Park De Hoge Veluwe too, which we visited the first day for a long hike. I can definitely recommend going for the room with a view, it was perfect!
Only area of improvement are the beds. I didn't had any trouble sleeping myself, but my girlfriend did not like the beds. They were really soft and bouncy.

This was our first time taking our dog with us to a hotel. Everything was lovely for us and also our dog.
The terrace of the hotel is stunning and the rooms very comfortable.
I hope we can return when Covid restrictions have been eased to enjoy the indoor dining too.

We stayed for one night in this lovely hotel. The location was super with the Lakeview and all. Our Room was also super, clean, spacious and with a view over the Lake. The only thing we did not like was the lack of airconditioning in the hotel lobby and restaurant. But I must say that we stayed during one of the hottest days this Summer.

Lovely two-night stay during Covid times. We had a room with a great view of the Veluwemeer. The room and facilities were great, especially the beds were very comfortable. In-room breakfast and dinner were fine, but nothing to write home about. The terrace by the lake was great for lunch and drinks. The majority of the staff were very friendly.

Stayed for 5 nights, great hotel with an amazing view across the water, really peaceful setting.
Room was comfortable and clean.
Good breakfast, reasonable amount of choice.
Our only complaint is the bad mannered guests who insist on taking their dogs inside the restaurant spoiling dinner and breakfast for other guests, I personally have a severe pet allergy, really not impressed with dogs barking and walking around shaking their fur while we ate dinner and to make matters worse one guest then allowed her large scruffy hairy hound to put its front paws on the table to be fed and lick her face, the owner got quite aggressive when another guest complained about the animal. It’s never necessary for animals to be in an public restaurant.
Its a shame that this is allowed to spoil other guests stay.

Stayed from Friday-Sunday. The view of the room over the lake and the public terrace was amazing. Beds could've been better, as well as the quality of the star looker. Breakfast was great, overall nice staff, just quite outdated look & feel of the hallways.
