The new family room was comfortable and clean. Dawn the owner was lovely and friendly. It was okay during the day. However the noise from the bar at night was awful why have a family room opposite such a place. The doors banged and vibrated everytime someone left and entered the building entrance. The walls are paper thin and every...

This review is a little harsh and was due to circumstances beyond my control. As you will see from later review from Margret F, who also stayed for one week in the same room with two children. When I found out what happend I telephoned and apologised. What has also been omitted from review is I reimbursed the family and...

This is a hidden gem, the rooms are modern and clean and very very reasonably priced. Plenty of tea and coffee in room. Nice cafe adjoins the motel where you can get a good cheap breakfast. Will definitely use again. Just one tip - take your own shower/ hair products there was none in room. However all the shops/ facilities...

Ok so the rooms are adequate, booked a twin but was given a double. Rang Dawn (the owner?) who said she would come over straight away. Were then given keys to room 2 which again was adequate. The complex of rooms seem to surround a car park/courtyard. Cars kept coming and going, ok not too bad. Then a live band...

This was a lovely little motel, the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Clean & tidy, and standards were well above what I expected for the price. Breakfast was absolutely top class - I enjoyed it so much I got a take away lunch.

I have seen my fair share of cheap motel dump and this place is amazing! The motel is a short walk from the train station towards the end of the high street. When we arrived they had mixed up the bookings, which one of the owners (I assume she was) travelled to the hotel approx 10 minutes wait and arrived...

My friends and I stayed here at the weekend and we were pretty disappointed. When we went to check in the bar staff didn't have a clue what was going on and ended up giving us a key to the wrong room. We weren't shown where to go either, it was a good job our friends that live locally were...
