This hotel was very reasonable for the amount we paid. The room could do with updating as the walls were quite shabby and the lampshades needed replacing as water marked. The bathroom could do with updating too as looked shabby to. The room was very hot so you needed the air conditioning on, but it had to be turned off...

5 star service and food! The roast dinners are amazing, the whole family enjoyed it and even my 4 year old cleared his plate which is unheard off! Staff are friendly and the decor is beautiful. Will definitely visit again, ASAP

I held my wedding reception at the hotel and stayed the night there along with several family members and friends that were part of the wedding. I couldn't fault the staff who were helpful, nothing was too much for them. The chef served an amazing meal that was way beyond our expectations. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, the...

Empty tables on Mother's Day should have been an indication. Dirty glasses with lipstick stains. Limited menu. Service slack. Food arrived at different times. Different temperature of meal. Yorkshire and veg cold. Meat like warm and tough. Potatoes hot. Staff pleasant and keen to help but let down by limited menu and environment

I visited the Bridge Hotel with my partner for a weekend break!! The rooms were of a very good standard but could do with being modernised!! The bar area was very cosy although very expensive however this is expected at a hotel!! A nice stay at a good hotel!!

Great Hotel, very comfortable and staff friendly- food excellent. The Bar was great to spend time in. Location was good to access buses and trains. The only negative was that there were limited facilities in the immediate area for travelers such as laundry, other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Clean room with large comfortable bed and clean communcal areas. Good breakfast choice and nice dining area with adequate evening menu, friendly staff. Bar is a bit pricey but lots of nice places to sit and read or socialise - overall i'd stay again. Seemed popular with locals which is always good sign

We came for the weekend and couldn't have been more impressed with our choice. Very friendly staff, lovely decor, large comfy bed and very clean room with nice extra touches ie bathroom toiletries, various types of teas etc. Breakfast was fantastic, best we've had at a hotel in a long time and the waitress was just lovely. For the money...
