A big thank you to the Grims Dyke hotel for hosting our joint family 25th wedding Anniversary and daughters 18th & 16th birthday parties. The hotel team that helped to organise the event and then deliver it - Clare and Richard - were fantastic and experienced. Our event was absolutely great and enjoyed by us and our friends and family....

This was great fun and amazing value for money. A huge variety of whisky and whiskey! You have time and space for fantastic chats with the distillers. The Burns themed banquet was superb and the hotel and its grounds are beautiful. The staff were friendly and professional. There was live music. I went home, drunk full and happy! :)

So many times I had driven past this hotel when I lived in the area, I was amazed by the character of the hotel when deciding to stay here on a recent visit. I recognised it, but couldn't place from where, until I read the information folder in the room, it had been used in numerous TV and film productions,...

Outstanding Hotel, staff couldn't be more helpful. Stayed at his hotel every-week for at least 2 months and felt right at home. Everything down to the smallest detail is there. Clean, free room service, smiling staff, nothing too much trouble. Reminded me of the kind of hotel that was around when hotels gave good service. Food was excellent. Will certainly...

I have stayed at this amazing hotel a few times in the past and again recently for a short break away, as always it was fabulous!!! From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff, the reception team were so helpful with our requests (Paula and Anne-Marie in particular, thank you again) the bar...

Not expected, must admit did not expect, this hotel to be as good as it turned out to be, so let me tell you, after a very long drive, six hours, we arrived, first impression, very impressed, what a lovely building, and I could drive right up to the main entrance, lovely, the driveway itself very inviting, lovely location, trees...

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch with my wife today, including a lovely walk around the grounds. It is always a very relaxed atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Booked a dinner party for 10 people while we were there and are also looking forward to our B&B overnight stay - a Christmas present from our children. 3 wonderful different occasions in...

Stayed in the Gilbert Suite and can honestly say it was excellent. The room is lovely and very comfortable. Warm and airy with lovely views. Bathroom nice and had everything we needed. Had breakfast at £12 each and this was very nice. Good selection of food for the cooked and the continental breakfast, not just cheap food to fill up...

If you like comfy bed and a good shower don't bother. Room in lodge was basic. Old sprung mattress not comfy and noisy when you roll over. Shower useless. Breakfast was ok. Would not use again. Main house very impressive but used mainly for weddings.

Excellent hotel in every respect, booked on a whim and we hit the bullseye. Stayed the night before New Years Eve and hotel quiet and restaurant closed but adequate options on special bar menu and they even managed to supply our off-menu requests. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. We will be staying...
