Hotel's Favourite
Spotless room, comfy bed, cosy room and lovely layout. Can’t go wrong with a premier inn, have stayed in many and this one has to be one of my favourites. Lovely location with a Hickory’s smokehouse next door. Myself and my friend had a great stay here and would definitely return.

The hotel was chosen due to its location which is only 10 mins car drive to Manchester Airport. The hotel restaurant is undergoing a big refurbishment and rebuild at present and therefore any food has to be obtained off site which is either into the town of wilmslow or at the local pub the Honey Bee which is a 10 min drive up the road. The hotel is up to the normal standard expected at a Premier Inn and the room was clean and comfortable Until the building work is finished it may be worth considering finding an alternative due to the issue surrounding food availability.

We stayed here for 1 night for an event at Capesthorne Hall (less than a 15min straight forward drive there). Quite a small Premier Inn which was nice. Good sized car park. Quiet location. Close to the little town for meals out. Very close to Manchester Airport but far enough away that we didn't actually hear any planes. No problem with noise at all for us, we were on the top floor but were near the entrance door to the floor. The best bathroom I have ever seen in a Premier Inn, huge shower tray which was very modern (not sure when these were renovated). Bed was very comfy

After reading reviews from back in Feb 2020 regarding the restaurant next door being refurbished I had wondered if it would be finished or still ongoing - I can confirm the building works are still ongoing. We arrived at 5pm and left at 8am the next day so it didn't affect our stay but just for people to bare that in mind

COVID19 measures did not affect our stay at all. Face masks are required in public areas of the hotel and there is sanitiser available. Staff won't enter your room, but you can request new linen, towels, pillows (they have taken all spares out the room). This was fine, our spare pillows (we like to sleep with 2 each) were left in a bag outside after we requested them from reception. They provide a telephone number to reception in the room (there is however no phone in the room so you just use your own to phone)

Stayed 3 nights. They have worked hard to make it covid safe.- hand sanitisers, rooms not cleaned during stay unless requested,, extra tea, coffee etc bagged up to minimise hand contact.
Standard rooms. East to regulate temper are.
Bed comfortable . Only downside was that I am only 5ft and found the bed high to get on and off
Restaurant still closed due to renovations.

Two adults and two children stayed two nights 16th and 17th Feb 2020 in a family room. we were given a ground floor room, clean and to the usual high standards of a Premier Inn at which we had stayed a few times before visiting family.
We were awakened both mornings at 7.10 am by workmen working outside our window as part of the building site outside converting the pub adjacent to the property. On the second morning it was horrendous with workmen cutting blocks with a petrol stihl saw making a shocking noise at 7.45 am about 15 feet from our window and an excavator digging about 30 feet away.
Premier Inn should not be letting rooms out so close to a building site with all the associated noise, smells and nuisance dusts. Whilst away for a short break we would have preferred the opportunity to have slept in to around 9 am but we felt outraged and complained at reception on leaving but we were only offered us a meagre apology for the inconvenience. We were not encouraged to stay there again.

Having searched through so many reviews and checked prices for hotels in the area, this seemed very good value and people had commented on the modern fittings. Indeed, the room was spacious had a v clean and up to date shower room and all the fittings we needed. The bed and bedding were excellent, desk, kettle and separate hairdryer unit great. Impressed with a hotel finally providing coat hooks away from the wardrobe space. Lighting options were perfect, especially the purple glow option behind the headboard.

Everybody we encountered was very friendly., including the cleaners we passed on their change-overs in the morning. Not always the case!

The American style eatery next door looked good and was obviously very popular indeed with a full carpark. We decided against it due to prices but it clearly does not put off most visitors! No breakfast option until brunch at 11 am. We would certainly return here when in the area again.

Look, Premier Inn are a safe bet. You know what you are getting as depending on the algorithm that sets the prices based on demand and supply, you normally get value for money or keep shopping around.

We found ourselves here after seeing nearly all Manchester Airport hotels in the actual airport being either full or over £240 a night recently.

So, as this hotel only 10 mins away from T2, we booked as an early am flight next morning.

Upon arrival (7.30pm) it is clear the hotel "shares" parking with the Hickory Inn restaurant / bar.

As a result, no parking spaces as this is clearly a popular spot for Mancunians / Cheshire locals to eat cheap, drink cheap etc etc

My wife jumped out, as I joined several cars all lurking waiting for spaces, to ask reception about hotel parking so we couls
book in etc. Wife returned to say the male receptionist replied with a shrug if someone who has been asked this 1000 times and said "wherever u can get"

Thanks for that!

We decided to travel into Wilmslow to the local Pizza Express and returned 90 mins later and waited a further 30 mins before a space appeared as another family exited the pub.

As for the hotel
- was ok.

But the parking is an issue and not sure re breakfasts tbh either but we left at 5am

Room was plenty big enough for us, clean, bathrooms was one of the best premier inn bathrooms we’ve used, bed comfy. We stayed here night before flying away to New York. The pub attached to the hotel was being refurbed however there is a really nice vintage inns called honeybee down road not a long walk about 15 mins ... also we were allowed to keep car here for duration of our holiday for a ten pound donation to the hotels charity which is absolutely perfect ... taxi 14 pound using the app to the airport ...

In a time when we are all having to cancel Holidays it been great to see that some people still treat customers with compassion.

I had 3 rooms booked at the Premier Inn Wilmslow ( a hotel I have used several times and always received great serve for cost) unfortunately we had book the hotel well in advance before the dreaded Covid took effect, we booked 3 100% cancellation rooms, we then had our flights cancelled and could not go.

I spoke to Kelly the Assistant manger who really went more than the extra mile to help, she managed to re book us to a date we could now travel, and managed to get us a refund on the room difference.

She is a great asset to the Premier inn brand, I know at present they maybe in the process of looking at potential redundancies, I would definitely try my up most to retain this Premier inn gem .

This Premier Inn is in a very nice spot around 10-15 minutes drive from Manchester Airport, so very convenient for an overnight stay prior to flying.

Everything is up to the usual Premier Inn standard with clean, comfortable, well equipped rooms. The reception staff were also very helpful, with the usual friendly manner that always seems to be the case with this hotel brand.

In short a really good pre-airport overnight stay & we would definitely use this Premier Inn again. Our thanks to the staff on duty at the time.
