Unexpectedly we needed to stay a night in the locality - so it was quite by chance that we booked in. We stayed one night but whilst there the staff that we met were very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay at the guest house. It was a nice room with en suite, television and comfortable beds.

Heatherlea is not a B&B, just a B as they don't do breakfast, and this is reflected in the price. The room was open, the lights on when we arrived and we received a lovely welcome. A superb nights sleep, lovely bedding etc. The management booked us a taxi to take us to Manchester Airport (around £10 fare) and Heatherlea... More

Stayed here overnight before a 4am departure to Manchester Airport. Accommodation was spotless. There were 3 adults and we were suitably accommodated in a 3 bedded room - which proved much more cost efficient than trying to book at the airport. The journey in the morning to Jetpark took around 10 minutes (Heatherlea may provide holiday parking facilities-but we had... More

There really isn't much to say that hasn't already been said by all the other guests/reviewers. Plenty parking, friendly & efficient welcome (even though I was late on arrival & the poor lady had a migraine). Taxi arranged for following morning. Room was a pleasant surprise. Having booked a single, I walked in to a huge immaculate room with double... More

We had a short stay here while attending a wedding in the area, and choose it on the reviews. Not disappointed at all very clean value for money place. Loads of tea making stuff in room. Not a lot to say really just real good value staff on hand to recommend places if you want to visit. Real jewel. If... More

Had to write this review. Never have I stayed in such a lovely comfortable bed and house at such a reasonable price. We stayed in a triple room having decided we didn't want to come on morning of flight and we're welcomed by two lovely fun ladies, who were really helpful too . The room is immaculate, I write this... More

This is a nice property, lovely room but no breakfast available currently. You need to take your own and the breakfast room facilities are sparce. This should really be made clear on the booking sites not when you arrive.

Thank you for your comments I can understand why people may think we still provide breakfast as some previous reviews mention how fantastic it was . Due to family illness breakfast ceased in January 2015. There is no " breakfast room as such " However as a gesture we have provided a room with a fridge freezer and microwave if... More
