We stayed overnight following a family wedding in September. The wedding reception was perfect and the food was tasty and served hot. The outside area was beautiful with fabulous views across Yorkshire. The bar area, breakfast room etc were tired and dated and in need of refurbishment. Our room was decorated nicely and very clean. The room was cold though.... More

Apart from Sat nav unable to find the place, no other complaints, reception staff were great, and put me in one of the bungalow rooms, away from the wedding. Evening meal was very good, very reasonable, as was the cost of the room for two nights. Excellent wifi in the rooms, ideal for business or a romantic trip

Very good value for money, tasty food and a good breakfast. Rooms are adequate for commercial users although the hotel is a little cut-off. They have frequent weddings at this hotel which can impose a little if you're looking for a quiet stay.....

Stayed here August bank holiday weekend, as attended a wedding in the area on the Sunday. Hotel lovely, staff very friendly especially bar staff, who would have kept bar open past closing time if we'd wanted. Room spacious and spotlessly clean, my only complaint was I couldn't open the window. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked literally while on the road as stopover. Satnav couldn't find it - had to pull in and call for directions and they weren't surprised, this seems to be a problem. So, as I was delayed I missed last orders for food.... by 7 mins. Too bad, absolutely nothing to be done..... as a large function was on at the... More

We stayed two nights, Sat & Sun for a friend's wedding party on the Sunday. Check in was fast, the room was excellent, one of the bungalows in the annex, very spacious, with patio doors opening out on to a patio with excellent views. Shower was open-plan in a wet-room style bathroom, the floor gets very wet, but its heated... More

We go along to the Kings Croft Hotel on a regular basis year after year. On this latest occasion we went to the Henry V111 brassiere and bar, which used to be the Italian but has had a complete re- furb and now totally different staff and meals. The entrance is very light with comfortable woven chairs to sit in... More

Stayed one night. Hotel and grounds look absolutely fabulous. The dinner, although a reasonably limited menu was very good indeed. The staff took care to give us a room away from the wedding that was going on during the day into the night. The room itself was mostly good. Firm bed. Simple but effective bathroom. Fabulous shower. The staff were... More

We had our wedding here on the 10th of August and prior to the day we had been through everything to detail with Andy the general manager but he wasn't there on the day due to family reasons which is acceptable, however this was our wedding day. A day to remember and it was our wedding went off perfect until... More
