Stayed here after a wedding close by, the accommodation was arranged by another family member. We arrived late at night so didn't meet any of the staff. Our room was lovely, full of character with thick walls, sloping ceilings/floors, small windows. It was well heated and the window keeps most of the noise out (there was a group on the... More

Like others, I booked on a whim as I was flying early from Bristol. They made it very easy and full breakfast facilities were available on a self service basis. The house itself is beautiful with wonderful books and crannies, full of character. It was a shame to leave so quickly and would definitely be a great place to stay... More

Lovely rooms. Very quaint. Clean and tidy. Given a key code to get in to the property as we arrived at 10pm. Not sure what time breakfast was in the morning. We had to leave by 6:30 am and there was no sign of anyone serving a breakfast. Seemed more like we were staying in someone's house than an up... More

Thank you for your review, it's good to hear guests have enjoyed their stay. We provide a self service breakfast for guests, especially for those leaving early. Most B&B's are people's homes and I am pleased you felt comfortable in mine. More

We booked Meadow Cottage on a whim and we are glad we found this quaint little place....The room was lovely, the bathroom was small but it was adequate for a quick shower. The DIY breakfast concept was a treat....who needs a cooked breakfast anyway??....Coffee, toast, cereal, fruit...there was plenty of choice.. The local pub called 'The Plough' was recommended for... I booked this accommodation for valentines weekend. On arrival We were not disappointed. Annette was there to greet us as long lost friends, although never met at a pre-arranged time. Annette was very knowledgable about the local area and immediately recommended somewhere to eat that evening called the Plough in Wrington. Our room was the deluxe double, very reasonably priced... The B and B was beautiful set in gorgeous grounds with fantastic views. The lane to get to the cottage was very country and not easy to negotiate in the dark I'm a fairly confident driver and struggled a little. Once arrived I was lucky and I was greeted by a lady not sure if she was the owner and... More

We stayed at this guest house the night before a flight from nearby Bristol Airport. We found it easily enough despite the lack of light ing on the road to it. Our room was small but cosy with old prints on the walls and decor to match. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was on the small size but... More

Stayed night before early flight. Used self check in. Full instructions emailed all worked well. Our room was warm and comfortable. We did not use the self service breakfast as we left at 5am. We did checkout the kitchen which looked like it had everything for a light breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful warm house with friendly helpful staff, beautiful labs and a nice big kitchen. Annette gave me lots of help with logistics for my trip. I would definitely stay there again. A good selection was provided for breakfast and they also told me to help myself to tea and coffee during the day!
