A most welcoming hotel, comfortable & clean. The friendly owners & family staff were wonderful. I stayed in 2 different rooms after the owners took extra trouble to accommodate me for additional, unplanned nights. Both my rooms had fabulous views. A choice of dining in the bar, in the informal but well appointed lunchtime lounge or in the hotel's dining...

we had a good view from our room , the windows really needed painting and I felt it was functional but not really inviting , clean bathroom and nice breakfast. Dinner menu was interesting and we enjoyed some of the dishes especially the halibut. Would have liked more information in the room about the island .

Upon arrival andzeala and Ken met us and the three hyper dogs with open arms. Provided us with extra towels for dogs and showed us to our spacious room. Great views could be seen from room. Breakfast was great quality. Booking, paying and checkout was easy! Lovely island, very quiet and peaceful. Thanks to all the staff!

I took the opportunity of last weeks sunshine to visit Gigha. I was in the single room (Room 6) which overlooks the marina. I must say I had a most comfortable stay. The beer garden was great in the early evening until the sun went down. As you might expect in a small island hotel the menu was not vastly...

Wow. I've visited the beautiful Island of Gigha many times over the years but never have I had such an appalling experience as on my recent visit. The island is as beautiful as ever, and the locals are some of the friendliest folk you could ever wish to meet...but...the hotel! Oh dear! The manager is possibly the most ignorant man...

room was very clean but in need of some updating, the wallpaper was loose on the walls and the windows badly needed painted. There was a smell of dampness in the bathroom. the receptionist/barmaid was very pleasant and keen to please. the evening menu was also disappointing with only five main courses to choose from and it was the same...

Stayed for one night to celebrate husband's birthday. Arranged beforehand to have a surprise bottle of fizz and cake served at dinner which the hotel duly obliged with. Unfortunately, as we entered the dining room for dinner a massive row was taking place between the hotel owner and the kitchen staff. Not appropriate at all and made us feel very...

Just go and chill with staff and scenery. If you don't chill here you never will. Food could be be a bit tastier and varied but the the overall experience is great. Weather was good but even if it's raining you can't fail to enjoy

Great hotel, very clean and tidy. Nice friendly, helpful staff. Good food with a varied menu. The hotel has a nice relaxed atmosphere and our stay was very enjoyable. All the locals we met on the island were lovely too. We can highly recommend a visit to the Gigha Hotel.
