Fantastic host who made us feel very welcome. Travelled with 2 teen sons and accommodation worked out very well for us as we booked two rooms. Breakfast was lovely. Good location for touring. Homey and friendly feel.

We stayed at this lovely victorian B & B in July and had a lovely stay. We had The Dockies room, as we were traveling with our teen son. The room was very big for 3 people, very clean and had a roof-top view of the harbor. Breakfasts were amazing! The time we were there, we did not get to...

Beautiful old house with history! Great central location. Audra was a most hospitable host who was a delight with her stories and information about life in this part of the world. Breakfasts were super and featured local products. We especially enjoyed the treat of moose sausages. Highly recommend this place.

This is indeed a lovely old house that is full of character and charm. My wife, 15 year old son and I had Dockies room on the top floor and it was the only B&B we found in our travels that actually had a memory foam bed and privacy curtain for our son as opposed to a cramped sofa bed...

We enjoyed 2 nights at the AppleWood Inn, Twillingate in July 2016. It is very easy to locate, right on the main street into Twillingate. The Inn is a cool old home and very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed visiting with other guests over breakfast. We also enjoyed sitting outside at the fire pit, although...

We stayed in the Ruby Room, which was lovely and the bathroom was very cute and clean. The home had a lot of history to it which we enjoyed. The location was also very good, it was very near to the Twillingate attractions. Breakfast was delicious and the owner was very kind and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time...

My wife and I stayed at the Applewood for a night . We made use of the fire pit and cooked some hot dogs up. The Ruby room was nice and the bed was oh so comfortable. The Applewood is centrally located on the main road so not much of a view. Breakfast was okay for sure . We missed...

We enjoyed our stay here with one exception. The dining room is 'shut off' from everything! It's like, "here you are. come in sit down and eat, then leave!" IF there are other travellers eating at the same time, then there's someone to share with but to be given your food, then have the door close and leave you alone...

We stayed at the Applewood Inn this month, for one night during a whirlwind Newfoundland trip. Our room on the 3rd floor was super clean and quiet. The bathroom was great, and the house lovely. So easy to pop back on the highway too. The breakfast was not great but not the end of the world, either. I think the...

My fiancée and I stayed 3 nights in the Sapphire room. It was very spacious with a comfortable bed. I particularly enjoyed the cross breeze from the two windows keeping us cool. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet the room was given the age of the house. Audra, our host, was fantastic. Every morning she made homemade breakfasts, one...
