Trout River is a perfect location from which to explore the Tablelands in Gros Morne National Park, NFLD. There are numerous hiking trails nearby, and this B&B has some of the most amazing views of the area. The owners, Tom and Doris are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They obviously love what they do (and each...

We stayed with Tom and Doris for four days. It was like finding lots relatives. What a warm and lovely couple. After breakfast one morning they put on a show with Tom on the accordion and Doris on the ugly stick. What a hoot that was. I cannot say enough about their lovely home. The views are spectacular and so...

Doris was in the yard she was busy tending her flower beds. A warm welcome and I was showed to my room. I toured Trout River and Woody Point returning in time for another Trout River sunset. The next morning after my choice of breakfast I went for the 10 O'clock tour of the Table Lands in Gros Morne. Captured...

We were extremely happy with our stay at Doris and Tom's. As others have said, they made us feel right at home. Very comfortable and clean room and the breakfasts were all we could hope for. A very hard working couple and their story of building their home, complete with pictures, is inspirational. A great location for access to Gros...

Coming back here was like coming back to visit friends. This is the place to stay if visiting the southern part of Gros Morne N. P. This place is perfect. And if you like to play cards, Tom & Doris love to play, and Doris taught me a new card game. Honestly, stay here, I will the next time I...

Tom and Doris made us feel like family and they have a wonderful B&B. Our room (The Safari) was excellent and impeccably clean and well appointed. The spa shower is the most fun you'll have alone in a shower ;) very comfortable bed and great views. Minutes from some of the best Gros Morne Tableland hikes. We love the personal...

Tom and Doris went beyond being just hosts. I couldn't list all that they done but an example was when Tom picked up his 120 year old according and Doris grabed the ugly stick to perform some traditional Newfoundland songs for us. Reading other reviews, it seams they find some way to make every visit special. The location is perfect...
