Our room was located directly inside the Hotel on the 2nd floor. We were handy to everything. Staff was perfect in every way. Room was spacious and very clean. We spent most of our days at the beach or at their swim up saltwater pool. There was another pool but it was more for families. Food was not bad at...

Just settling in at home and missing Hotel Colonial already. This trip was our 3rd time to this resort. We travelled with my parents who were visiting for their 4th time. The Staff is absolutely amazing...we have become friends with them and look forward to seeing their faces when we step off the bus. My daughter and I feel like...

I visited Hotel Colonial in Cayo Coco, Cuba March, 2017, went as a single person. (Wish they would remove the single supplement surcharge year round, as this place is suitable for single travelers), also great for families and couples. I went feeling very stressed, but within a day or two, I was able to unwind and relax, by the time...

I just returned from my second four-day trip to the Hotel Colonial with my daughter. The aspects we really liked last time were the same: the staff are very friendly, the room location was fantastic beside the salt water pool, and the a la carte restaurants are very good. They accommodated my room request as well. The churros were great...

We traveled there over the Ontario March Break -- our second time there, our 9th in Cuba. We are not picky people.. we understand that this is Cuba and don't expect North American 5* standards when we go, but this was a bit of a disappointment. The resort itself is charming with a lot of character. Beach: Incredible. Amazing. It's...

Rooms: Our room in block 16 had a beautiful ocean view, and that was worth the extra cost. Unfortunately, our room had water problems (little pressure, no hot water), but I did not want to switch because I wanted to keep the nice view. We got access to another room for one day to shower and then this seemed like...

We were at the Colonial in 2014. Let us tell you something folks, the only thing we have to say is we had the water pressure problem in our room. We spoke to the front desk right away. They sent the plumber up to us right away to fix the problem, which he did, he also brought the wife a...

Every time I return, I feel like I am coming home. The people who work here are amazing. Very welcoming, friendly and fun loving. Yes, we had times without water but you make the best of it....and really, we have nothing to complain about. The towns are doing without for many days at a time, so try to conserve a...

I'll start with the only negative at this resort. The buffet food. This was my fifth time in Cuba and the buffet here was the smallest with the least selection I've ever see. The À la carte restaurants were good and I loved the hotdogs at the snack bar. I was travelling by myself and felt safe the whole time....
