The reviews posted before this one are very misleading and rude. I stayed at the guesthouse with a handfull of my firends and we loved it. We stayed over Christmas and New Year's and we surfed everyday and went out to the local bars, and watched movies on the surround sound home theatre every night. The location is great, it is withing walking (or biking) distance of Surfer's Beach, Wilderness, Table Top, Wishing Wells, etc. And the Airport is right across the street. If you are looking for a "fancy feast" getaway then go to the Hilton but if you want to have a great time with your friends and need a place to crash, Irvine will hook you up!!! He was very helpful for all of the requests we made. Big ups!!!

I agree with the last review posted. I couldn't have said it any better. I paid in full and got my money back after much runaround but it is a terrible place to stay. Please do not stay here [---------------------]

I have seen all of the houses at Ramey Guest House. The pricing and presentation on the website are of upscale vacation homes. NOT! They are dirty and cockroach infested. The fixtures are old, rusty, stained and in disrepair. The decor is garage sale seconds. One of the couches stunk of urine. There is no internet service as the website claims. Other basic utilities (electricity, water, cable TV, telephone) depend on whether the management has paid the bill recently or not. The website says that the owners are right next door for security and customer service. The truth is they were the noisiest of all the neighbors with their loud music and TV on full blast, domestic disputes, and their dogs barking day and night. The owner even admitted to going through our personal items in the house while we were out siteseeing. Stay away from Ramey Guesthouse! I suggest Villa Montaña in Isabela or Casa Juan in Aguada. Both are genuinely upscale and closer to the beaches. Surfing, snorkling and swimming is wonderful in this uncrowded area of the island.
