We regularly come up to Sydney from our home in a western slopes town and stay at motel near where we used to live in the Blacktown area. However it was booked out so we picked the Penrith Mercure at Panthers as the most suitable alternative. I booked direct with the reception on the night before and received and email...

Clean and large rooms, good access to Panthers club before 10pm but afterwards have to go outside. The access after 10pm is an outside, short walk to Panthers, however in the cold and dark not nice. You need to get your act together and have a walk through. We arrived as the Friday footie ended, could not see sign into...

We have stayed at the Mercure on a number of occasions and have fond it to be consistently clean, today and comfortable. Housekeeping is good (although a little more attention to refilling tea supplies would be nice) A late checkout was no problem when asked for - reception staff are cheerful and helpful. Free newspapers and magazines are appreciated as...

Made to feel very welcome by all reception staff at check-in. Received an upgrade to executive king room through Accor membership. Room very large and in excellent condition. Complimentary drink at bar served by very friendly staff and free WiFi always welcome.Panthers easily accessible, so no dining worries. Our only issue- the shower and spa in our ""executive" room were...

Certainly not a warm welcome at reception on check-in and no information on facilities etc at all. Pouring rain and cold and Disability parking is inadequate and 2nd night had to park quite a distance from motel. First night we Reported the unclean bathroom and after two nights still had not been cleaned. Corners between walls & floor had grey...

I cannot understand why the beds are not the priority of the accomodation... The motel has to some extent tried to address the mold and grime in the bathrooms by painting over all the grout and tiles... We laughed at this.. Obviously it is difficult to redo a bathroom.. Just scrap out the moldy grout and put new in.. But...

Stayed one night for the NRL. Really convenient room about 2 doors from reception, thought it would be really noisy with the footy fans but didnt hear a thing. Speedy checkin. Free parking. Despite minor damage to bathroom paint and tiles still super clean. Boyfriend whinged about the shower pressure but no worse than the general eco friendly/ money saving...
