Stayed here many years ago and though we would revisit. Still delightful, quiet, elegant and lovely staff, gorgeous food. A great weekend getaway. WiFi needs an upgrade but couldn't fault the experience otherwise. Thank You.

Plan alternate activities outside of hotel if wet weather possible. Room and staff friendly and doing their best. We signed up to the loyalty program and got a complimentary drink and late checkout which was really great. Bfast and check out both end at 10am, and if we didn t have late check out bfast would have been much more...

A very enjoyable stay for our anniversary. We got room upgrade that was nice by the hotel. The receptionist was very accommodating when we advised that the room has fair bit of ants on the tables. We got moved to another room, which is right next door to the one we suppose to stay. The outdoor pool is still out...

Great peaceful location. The gardens and the Manor House are beautiful, and it is so close to Moss Vale, Bowral etc. The room we had was large with plenty of room to move around - it was much larger than any others we had on our trip. Bed was really comfy. Big TV (great !) Staff were so great.Only 2...

Overall it was a good experience but the little things make the difference like the mattress was pretty uncomfortable and I had the lamb for dinner at their the restaurant which was uneatable - it was tough under cooked and really overpriced.

We and our travelling companions took the dinner, bed & breakfast package, which looked exceptionally good value - and it was. Having previously dined there several times, we deduced that the food would be excellent, - and, again it was, with a wonderful dinner and very comprehensive buffet for breakfast. The service is as you would expect from a class...

Might be a little dull for young 'uns. Uppish pricing.Staff were exceptional and made the stay a pleasure. Food was very good, some uncertainty with Vegetarian options, but all requests were met,The other guests who were not part of the Wedding group may have felt a bit swamped.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Peppers Manor House is set on a beautiful Southern Highlands estate and provides an experience of life and leisure at one of Australia's grand country houses. Built in 1926, the house was originally home to the Katers, a pioneering grazing family, and has retained its original country charm. During winter, an open fire burns continually in the Great Hall and in summer meals are served in a leafy courtyard with drinks by the pool. Wake up refreshed and enjoy the views of the estate from your elegantly appointed room or suite. The setting is tranquil, the decor charmingly luxe. Highland Queen Rooms, Highland King Rooms, Garden Wing Deluxe, Garden Wing Suites and the Elizabeth Broughton Suite (in the original master bedroom), form part of the historic home, with an adjacent Garden Wing taking full advantage of the country views. The retreat offers the 18-hole championship Mount Broughton Golf Course and Country Club, tennis, boules, lawn bowls or be rejuvenated with a bushwalk or a gentle stroll around the beautiful gardens and cool off with a swim. Be pampered with the retreat's range of massage therapies and beauty treatments, or relax with a good book and a glass of wine in front of the open fire. Katers Restaurant at Peppers Manor House in the Southern Highlands offers diners a truly world class experience. The magnificent country estate setting and celebration of fresh seasonal produce will ensure an experience to be remembered. Open for breakfast, lunch, traditional afternoon tea and dinner daily, there's no need to wait for a special occasion. Try the Pan fried barramundi served with Morton Bay bug cannelloni and squid ink crumbs or Angus beef fillet served with red cabbage puree, corn cake and Cabernet jus. And for something really special at this multi award winning restaurant, there's a delicious 5 course degustation menu, available with or without matched wines. The surrounding area has something for everyone, including horse riding, mountain biking, trout fishing, historic villages, antique shopping or winery tours. The Highlands area offers a delightful environment to seek antiques and rare books, arts and crafts, or that perfect escape in a National Park. ... more   less
