For what it is, a highway / roadside stop. Was impressed by the cleanliness and the quality of the rooms. Cost includes free continental breakfast. Smoke free rooms and good, secure off road parking. I'd easily recommend this place. Decent pub grub available and importantly the beers are icy cold

Geoff and Karen are very accommodating and friendly hosts. Karen's home cooked evening meal was delicious. My steak was cooked how I asked, and the mushroom sauce was lovely. Lovely fresh salad and chips to accompany. The unit was clean although a little rusty in the bathroom, but still clean. Internet available. This place is worth a stopover. There is a...

We spend one night in this little village at the A1. The motel ist located right at the highway and the tracks. However, it was not very noisy. The owners were very friendly, helpful and could provide dinner on demand. The room was clean and sufficient. Perfect to stay a night on traveling

This motel is worth the stay, Karen the manager is friendly and nothing is too much trouble at all. Karen cooked us a meal, it was huge and really tasty, good home cooking. The rooms are clean and tidy, the whole motel is clean and tidy. We will always stay here on our trips.

We travel up and down the coast regularly. We actually started to stay here by default as the usual accommodation we used was booked out. They gave us Karen and Geoff's number and we are so glad they did. We have not stayed anywhere else on our journey's south since that day. Karen and Geoff are doing an excellent job...

This was a good clean motel on the highway. Staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We got in about 8pm and they cooked us a good hearty meal and helped us with directions and info about upcoming towns. The rooms are basic but comfortable and very well priced. Would definitely make a point to stop there again if needing...

Travelling south to Brisbane from Mackay I didn't leave until late afternoon and decided to stop somewhere for a good rest. I decided to travel as far south as Bororen, so I phoned ahead when I reached Rocky. Karen answered the phone and was very helpful. I told her I was after a motel that had the car park allocation...

We were lucky to get the last unit for an over night stay as they are currently upgrading all rooms to an excellent standard. Geoff was very accommodating and next time we might try a meal ( at very reasonable price about $10 cheaper than local hotel) There was a microwave so we heated our own. As a positive the...

“The motel is on the Bruce Highway so noise is an inherent problem. The Bruce Highway currently has many, many roadworks from Gin Gin to Rockhampton, so room position makes little difference. Trucks travel at night to avoid lengthy delays. This is beyond the control of management.”
