We enjoyed our time here. The rooms were lovely if a little old fashioned, and serviced to a high standard each day. The food was excellent at dinner, imaginative and inventive cuisine. the staff were helpful and friendly. however, breakfast was not so good, served in a depressing dining area which is in desperate need of a refurbishment. The two accomodation... More

My family & I (12 people) stayed over for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The service was shocking, our waitress was terrible, sour ,rude and to make things worse she did not even wish us Merry Christmas. The rooms were ok but the out side was dirty, full of dead insects & cobwebs. Christmas lunch was ordinary for... More

we booked a 2 night stay for the Australia Day weekend cannot fault the size of the rooms, quality of service from the staff from checkin to table service in Eleanor' restaurant. Very attentive staff from checking in to restaurant wait staff. Nothing was a problem @ they couldn't be more helpful or informative. Highly recommended . Pricey but worth... More

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Chateau Yering in August 2014. The package included a night's stay in the St Hubert's suite. I was blown away when I entered the room and saw the views. I was instantaneously relaxed. It was wonderful to have that incredible free feeling of combining the view of wide open plains and... More

My husband and I have just spent a night at Chateau Yering. It is a beautiful historic property with lovely gardens and loads of charm. On a positive note the staff were all very polite and helpful and our room was beautiful. It was spotlessly clean, really nice comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom and well stocked with good teas, filter coffee,... More

Just spent two nights at Chateau Yering. Both my husband and I felt that customer service is lacking and while we have stayed before at this visit I felt strongly that some staff are not eager enough to please and at times it almost felt like we were imposing. One staff member at breakfast looked like she was in a... More

this is the second time my husband and I have been to Chateau Yering for a dinner/accom/breakfast package and it is faultless. Staff are superb, especially Kelly in the restaurant. Room was fabulous and breakfast devine. We've been to nearly all of Melbourne's best restaurants incl Jacques Remond (when still open) and this remains our favourite place. We will definitely... Had the chance to dine at Eleonores at Chateau Yering and having only read reviews I was not sure what to expect. The evening started off in the drawing room before being escorted into the large restaurant, complete with breathtaking views, comfortable chairs, super high ornate ceilings. The menu is slightly limiting with 4 entrees, 4 mains and 3 desserts,... More

My wife & I loved Chateau Yering, stayed there for birthday celebration with a small group. Chateau Yering makes you feel a little like you've travelled back in time... More
