Stayed one night at the Old Manse, it was very good. The welcome was friendly and helpful, the room very clean and the bathroom was excellent. The hosts provided pre-dinner drinks and nibbles - a nice surprise. We had dinner at a local restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was great - plenty of options and good coffee. We were on... More

Meaghan and Malcolm are the most delightful hosts. The accommodation is lovely walking distance to everywhere And every little detail down to the torch on the nightstand and the hair drier is there. We haven't done many b and bs before but such a great experience. Perfect for romantic getaway winery trips or book for a wedding as guests like... More

I stayed for two nights at the very beginning of the year, in town for a wedding, and Megan & Mal were most welcoming. The homestead is lovely and modern, just a few blocks from the middle of town, but the feel of their property, with adjoins a vineyard, is something else. I'm sure it's gorgeous in sunshine, I happened... More

Thank you for taking the time review your stay with us. We endeavour to provide everything to make the experience special. It was a shame the weather was not sunny and clear - which is usually the norm for Martinborough. The fans in the rooms are normally all that's needed to cool things down but like you mention the days... More

We stayed 1 night at the Old Manse intending to visit a winery or two! We got our timing wrong and decided to settle for dinner in town. ..but! We were hosted royally by Malcolm & Megan - in the most idyllic house. Beautifully restored the place has to be seen! I really wish we were staying longer. M&M are... More

Our stay at the Old Manse was just brilliant. Megan and Mal are friendly gracious hosts who we enjoyed having a drink with out on the deck. Breakfasts were superb. You get all the benefits of staying in a hotel combined with some down to earth Kiwi hospitality. Thanks, we will be back if staying in Martinborough again.

If you are in Martinborough then this is a great place to stay. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and gave me a glass of wine made from the vines growing at the bottom of the garden. The rooms are a good size and very clean. You will also get a terrific breakfast in the morning. Strongly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Old Manse. In addition to nice lodging and excellent food, Megan and Mal shared the history of the manse and the area. They helped us in planning meals out and what to see in the areas.

Stayed in this incredibly romantic old villa for two nights. Megan was absolutely charming and the breakfast was not only delicious but the table setting of chrystal glasses and fine linen really made this a classy experience. Fresh flowers, fluffy snowy white towels and classy decor made this a weekend to remember. Visiting Martinborough? Don't miss this gem.
