Look we stay with Anne every year whilst in Portsmouth for work and after 4 years it's about time I left a review, only my second on here. We visit each year for a week and its like visiting family. The best breakfast and a nice deck on the third floor to enjoy a glass of port of an evening....

Wonderful place to stay!!! We have stayed here 3 times and can't wait to go back! Ms. Anne is a lovely hostess who is dedicated to making your stay the best. The rooms are great and the beds are very comfortable. And the breakfast is scrumptious, and the location is perfect! If you are looking for in Olde Towne, definitely...

My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at the Glencoe Inn in Portsmouth, VA, during a week-long anniversary trip to the Chesapeake Bay area. Anne, the owner of the inn, has a wealth of knowledge about the area and after talking with her, we ended up visiting two places - the Mariner's Museum in Newport News and St. Luke's...

We stayed at the Glencoe in November 2015 and found it to be superb. The hostess is from Scotland and offers wonderful hospitality, even tailored to her guests special needs. In Portsmouth you will not do better than to stay at The Glencoe.

Anne is the best, and the rooms/service/breakfast are all top notch. I come here every year for work, and I will continue to stay at the Glencoe Inn for my time in Portsmouth. Perfect location and walking distance to all the best restaurants/bars. Thanks Anne :)

Very cozy Bed & Breakfast in old town Portsmouth. We stay here for a week every year during an event in town. Anne makes it feel like an 'home away from home'. Amazing home cooked breakfast in the morning. The house is old and charming and we just love Anne and her place, nothing fancy but just nice.

This was a very charming bed and breakfast- far better than any of the chain hotels in the Portsmouth area. From bottled water to makeup remover and scented body wash all the details were perfect. The owner was incredibly sweet. We will return the next time we need to spend the night in Portsmouth.

We were much in need of a vacation from home, but didn't want to drive a long distance. Despite only living 15 or so miles from Portsmouth, we had never really taken the time to explore this town. So glad we did and chose Glencoe Inn to stay. Ann is a fantastic hostess. Warm hospitality awaits you here. Her breakfasts...

We stayed at the Glencoe B&B while visiting family in the Norfolk area. It was New Year's Eve, just in time for the annual Scottish Walk. Anne, our hostess, was most gracious. Her lovely home was decorated for Christmas, with tartans everywhere. The Scottish parade route went right in front of her home in the historic area. We joined in...
