This hotel is steeped in history and it's nice knowing that instead of tearing down such a beautiful structure (as was in the plans), a huge effort was made to preserve it...and they've done it successfully. A great thing about the hotel is that it's located in the downtown area and walking-distance to restaurants and bars. I think the hotel...

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Roanoke for our Anniversary and this place was Great. An older hotel with great renovations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. We stayed in a room with a King bed. The ground of this place is immaculate. And lastly, there is...

This property is handsome and visually appealing, especially if one appreciates classic early 20th century architecture. The location is also excellent, a quick jaunt to the historic downtown. What I will remember the most about this property, though, is how noisy it was. One could hear everything in the hallways, and the doors of other rooms were constantly slamming. This...

After my grandson graduated from Virginia Tech, the family had reservations for dinner where we were set up in a private dining area of the restaurant. The food and service was outstanding. The hotel is a historic hotel that has been refurbished.

This is a lovely hotel with charm. We enjoy the location and the breakfast and dining experience. Staff is always helpful and available when needed. Highly recommend a visit to this part of Roanoke. The hotel is located within walking distance of the transportation museum, shopping and dining, as well as a morning farmer's market.

Love the hotel, but not impressed with the executive floor. Room was well below standard of usual rooms. No view. Hot food in the lounge can only be described as adequate. Spend the extra money for breakfast and enjoy the wonderful buffet in the Regency Room.

The Hotel Roanoke is a historic property with newly renovated rooms. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I'd compare this property to the boutique hotels in Europe. The rooms are clean and spacious and the property is just steps from the downtown center with many opportunities for eating and shopping.
