Me and my girlfriend felt at home right away. Our stay had everything we expected, plus a couple of nice surprises. Great location for Sperryville because you can walk to a couple of the bars/ restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. Can't wait to comeback!

This is a fantastic B and B at the base of the entrance to Skyline drive. We found the hosts to be not only pleasant but helpful in making plans for our getaway weekend. We stayed two nights and enjoyed meeting other guests and locals at the brewery in the basement both nights. I also liked how we had our...

My husband and I stayed in the cottage the night after our wedding. We got there later in the evening and Kevin and Sherri had left us a personalized note, along with some DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies. The cottage was in excellent condition, with any amenity you might need available! Breakfast the next morning was absolutely divine! Everything from the...

We selected this B&B because it is close to the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive and it had such good reviews. We were not disappointed. This is the best run B&B I have ever stayed at. The property is lovely and well maintained. The hosts are warm and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you...

It was wonderful having you in the house, and thank you so much for your gracious comments. We care deeply about making sure you aren't thinking about property maintenance while you are here, and we try to anticipate your wants and needs so that you don't have to think about those, either. We enjoyed meeting you and look forward to...

Excellent B&B with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts in a very quiet town. You can leave the breakfast table and be hiking along Skyline drive within minutes. Great get-away location for DC and Baltimore.

We always say that we moved here for the hiking! There hundreds of miles of trails, starting within minutes of the breakfast table, as you point out. Glad you enjoyed it, and hope to see you again.

Lovely room, charming hosts, great breakfasts, and great beer. We enjoyed both the Ordinary and surrounding area, visiting wineries, artisans, and the local distillery. We've recommended it to several friends!

My daughter and I went in November. We stayed for two nights and went hiking at Old Rag and Little Devils Staircase. Hopkins Ordinary was excellent. It was quiet when we were there with just another room occupied. Breakfast was delicious both days (especially loved the waffles) and the beer from downstairs was so good. The hosts were great, friendly...

It was great that you two got to enjoy such great hikes and spend some time together; thank you for making us your base for this getaway. Ask for the waffles next time, and we will make sure we serve them!

While we did not spend the night here, we did visit twice for a beer after hiking in Shenandoah NP and we loved it! Great beer and inventive concept of a small brewery set up within a bed and breakfast. The owners were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well as great brewers! We would love to stay...

I was looking for a cozy mid-winter getaway for my boyfriend and I after he took the bar exam; after 5 months of nonstop studying, I wanted something remote where we could be outdoors and not in front of a computer screen (or any other kind of screen!). The Hopkins Ordinary was absolutely perfect. We arrived late Friday night, and...

You would think after ten years, we would pick another B&B, but we just can't stop going to Hopkins. So welcoming and comfortable. Love visiting there. Kevin even reprised what will become one of our new favorites breakfasts, sweet potato pancakes. Couldn't turn down seconds on that one. Great place.

It was great to see you two again, and we love catching up on your lives. (And of course the home made Lonza is always appreciated!) And thank you for so willingly venturing from your favorite French Toast to the Sweet Potato Pancakes. They have become a winter staple now, thanks to your review. See you soon we hope.
