We had a delightful fall overnight at the Inn and were very happy with our stay. The staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. We stayed in one of the rooms in the Chumley Homestead (a separate building) and were able to build a big fire and sit and read for hours in an incredibly cozy common room. Our room was... More

We had a great time in the beginning of the winter. I booked a two day trip, we stayed in the Mill which seems to be the landmark property of the Inn. It was very relaxing and romantic. The studio was warm and a fireplace was present. I imagine the place being beautiful and green in Fall and Spring. One... More

While you pull up to a no-frills countryside estate, the Inn's service & quality were excellent. Inn keepers Tiffany & Derrick are extremely nice and accommodating to all requests. One of us required a gluten free diet and the staff went above and beyond to make the experience and food just as lovely even with that restriction in place. We... More

This was our second time saying at Vaucluse Spring in the cabin by the pond. It is a perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The setting of the cabin nestled into the hillside overlooking the mill pond along with the warmth of the fireplace and an excellent breakfast all made for a perfect stay.

It's quite unique and I didn't want to leave. Nice mountain views from the lovely Strother room. Delicious breakfast. Peaceful and enjoyed walking around the property. Many books available, so I enjoyed reading about the Civil War in the area and a family's connection to the Manor house. Innkeepers are really nice and treated us royally. He's also a great... More

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary and had such an amazing time. We stayed in the cabin which was very beautiful with a rustic feel. The breakfasts were amazing as was the Saturday dinner. We spent the day Saturday visiting the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley which was very interesting, and also walking through downtown Winchester... More

My wife and I stayed for our 'baby moon' and wedding anniversary. We stayed in a room in the main house. The accommodations included great decor and good privacy. We loved having our own fireplace in our room. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, they were incredibly accommodating to tweak their dishes for my vegetarian wife. Easy drive to Shenandoah National... More

I really don't know where to begin. We stayed in the Chumley House with another couple who we traveled with. Therefore, having the house, with a gathering area was perfect. The rooms were lovely, each having their own gas fireplace, ours was double sided from bedroom to bathroom. The gathering room was such a treat, we did not want to... More

Beautifully situated Manor House, with a variety of out buildings all used as accommodations. We stayed in the Jones room in the Manor and had beautiful views to the south and west from our very spacious room, with fireplaces in the bedroom and the bathroom. Lovely porch with comfortable rockers. Breakfasts were delicious, creative and came with very attentive service.... More
