My husband, my daughter-in-law, grandson and our two dogs stayed at the Hotel Strasburg over Thanksgiving and we loved it! Brimming with charm, this historic hotel also has a caring, welcoming and hospitable staff. Our rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated with period antiques. We all enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet that provided a large variety of food and desserts. The...

A charming older hotel handy to the Valley battlefields with very friendly and helpful staff. As too often in older properties there are too few convenience outlets and inadequate lighting. The dining room was well.organized and the food very good Easy parking at least in November.

I arrived at the hotel late in the evening so the room was dimly lit, and in the morning after the sun came up I said it was a good thing it was dim when I arrived, because I wouldn't have slept in that room.(I have pictures for proof) The floors look liked they had never been cleaned, and I...

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I stayed in room 306 a couple weekends ago and it was horrible. There was a huge leak in the bathroom ceiling that caused brown stains all over the shower curtain and walls. My husband said it looked like it was previously patched up using only putty as a bandaid. The bed...

Built around the turn of the last century as a hospital. Decor was 100 years old, too. The floors creaked and weren't level ... all adding to the feeling you've stepped back into a bygone era. I really liked it. My wife didn't. Pet friendly, too ... that's why we chose this hotel. Complimentary continental breakfast was pretty basic ......

It was cheap, but they get you on the extras, so beware. A quaint place, stepping back in time which might be ok for my mother, but not really my cup of tea. Everything creaks, from the stairs, to the floor, to the mattress to the iron bed head. Overall a good night's sleep but was ready to move on...

A very nostalgic hotel; once serving as a pre-civil war hospital. Converted beautifully into a hotel, but more like a glorified B&B. Complete with restaurant, we enjoyed most of our time at the Depot where they had 4 beers on tap, and an assortment of other beverages. There was popcorn to munch on and a bar menu that was full...

My daughter & I shared a room with a full and twin bed. The mattresses were old and very hard, the sheets were of low quality and neither of us slept well. The room seemed clean enough, but the décor was very tacky with too much cheap clutter on the walls. As my daughter said "they need a new designer"....

It is clean and homey. Really friendly service and good waitress for breakfast, named Christine, she is awesome. It has its own restaurant serves good food with a reasonable price. I think I have been there twice or three times, which I fogort. I stayed in different rooms each time, but the same is every room is unique and cute.

Forget about your standard corporate hotels with this stay and travel back in time to a hotel that is simple but comfortable. We stayed 1 night here and yes the room was quite simple. But that doesn't mean that the location was not accommodating or comfortable. It had all that we needed for a restful night. The hotel has quite...
