I wanted to let everyone know that the staff will go over and beyond for you. I woke up the morning of my departure and had a flat tire. I walked back in and asked if anyone could help me. This kind man Samuel without hesitation put down his rag from cleaning the windows and told me to come on... He is one hard worker, changed my tire without any problems. He is one special person and should be the face of this hotel.
The facilities are modern, beautiful and relaxing. Its very pleasing and we will enjoy the amenities, balcony, pool bar, beach and valet service. The room has two separate areas with a sofa bed in one area, for the kids, and a bedroom. Its perfect for a big family.
Let’s face it : Everybody is exhausted when they are traveling often times the person that checks you into your hotel room is the first interaction that you’ve had since getting off a plane or getting out of your car. My first interaction was with Emily she was fantastic with a warm smile and some quick wit she made me feel right at home ! Thank you !
Service is exceptional. The room is phenomenal and Daryl is amazing!!! He’s definitely all about exceptional service. This is what a hotel experience should be like always. I am so glad my organization selected a Marriott property. They never disappoint. with so many things happening today it is a real comfort to know that I am staying in a facility that puts the customer first all the way down to safety.
Great Bayfront location away from the congestion and craziness of the Ocean Front area. Lovely hotel, Great Beach, Nice Pool, Very Light, Bright and Clean but the best part is their Staff! Friendly, Knowledgeable, Professional, always able to make area suggestions for whateveryou'relookingfor. Great location for a family reunion, wedding/renew your vows on the beach. The only reason they didn't get 5* was this stay we notices several inconsistencies in the Delta Pantry (for certain marriott bonvoy members) as well as in the restaurant. We have always enjoyed the Tin Cup but we're disappointed in the difference between what was on the menu and what had been eliminated but was still listed. Ordered the same breakfast 2 mornings and they were totally different. Small portion of spinach crab dip was yummy but small for $17. Same with Caesar salad and bronzed fish. We'll keep going back as we know they have had recent management changes.…
We had a great time at Delta Hotel in Virginia Beach. This is a great hotel. Emily took great care of us while we were there. It was our 2nd time staying there. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Can't wait to visit again!!!
I was excited to stay here on business at this "newer" Marriott property in Virginia Beach as it is away from the riff raff of Atlantic Avenue. Having been a Platinum Elite Member for many years now, I can honestly say this was the most disappointed I have been with a hotel property and it's management. Upon checking in it was late, which the front staff was courteous and welcoming (only high point of this trip). Upon getting into my room there was sand in the bed, which I brushed away as it was late and just wanted to get to bed. Not until the next morning after I opened up the curtains did I see the horrible aftermath of this hotel. As I looked around the room there was food on the carpet that had not been swept, candy wrappers, and let's just say other "remnants" of the past guests which clearly the room was not cleaned thoroughly. I was mortified and left to speak to the manager on the way out. The manager "Chris E****" was not there that day (convenient) which the lady checking me out gave me his card which I sent a prompt email that same morning with the attached pictures. I never heard from him, which after a week I became agitated which I researched an executive from Marriott "Shannon M*****-C***" to relay my negative experience which to this day neither have contacted me. I hope this email will help others make their decision on this property as this is the worst I've seen and the management and executive management are non-existent and don't care to return at least an email to their loyal customers. I also informed American Express travel services which they marked this property with a negative review which I hope will help others to not stay here and waste their money.…
Facility nice but staff seemed overwhelmed- nice location on the bayside - nice interior - friendly staff just a big property. Disappointed experience the high price. No coffee in the lobby ): Starbucks only. Sad balcony view of the parking lot
What a beautiful hotel and such friendly service. The space actually is as beautiful as the photos posted. Exceeding our expectations. It's also such a convenient location right up along the beach, across from a Food Lion and restaurants.
The hotel was nice and clean. The views were amazing at the sunset from the beach or the hotel restaurant porch. Loved the live music on Thursday evening! The staff was very friendly from the head of engineering we met in the hall, to Vanessa at the front desk, and every valet parking employee. Definitely would stay there again.
