A great secret escape, only a couple of hours away from Singapore by car/coach. From the moment we booked, Cat and the staff made every effort to ensure our stay was going to be relaxing and easy. Arranging the transfer from Sinagpore was simple, straightforwrd and went perfectly to plan. As we were staying over a public holiday weekend, Cat...

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of April 2016 with my wife and 2 young children. From the beginning the resort staff made us feel welcome and right at home, nothing was too much trouble, and that included offering to watch the kids so we could go diving. The accommodation is a little rough around the edges, this...

We have just spent three nights at this lovely Malaysian resort, which for some might seem to be a step too far: mostly no air con, no hot water, coral beach. None of those things mattered a jot and it is beautifully basic. Apart from being in a beautiful spot, above all the customer care and the food are beyond...

What a FANTASTIC place! The chalets are basic but clean and very comfortable with great views of the ocean and a fantastic beach with activities including scuba diving, snorkeling and spa. Carly, Jake, Liam and the rest of the Rimba team make you feel at home as soon as you arrive on the beach. The staff and management really go...

My husband and I just returned from a really terrific weekend at Rimba Resort, and we're already planning our next visit! The accommodations are rustic with no aircon, mosquito nets, and cool water, but absolutely fine for what you will need, and are fitting with the vibe of the Resort, for sure! The views are spectacular, and the snorkeling/diving is...

A totally relaxing, dressed down and super friendly place to spend a couple of retreat days. Carly, John, Ash, Eric, Liam and the rest of the Rimba team made our experience so much more than expected. With a constant & genuine concern on our well-being, we felt like the only one on the island. With an outspoken ambition on how...

Our stay was incredible. The accommodation is basic but clean and very comfortable. Sleeping next to the ocean and listening to sea and enjoying the ocean breeze was an absolute delight. In the mornings, we explored the beach and rock pools before breakfast and enjoyed snorkelling, floating on the rubber tubes and building sand castles on the beach in the...

The staff are very friendly and I'm impressed that they can remember all the guest name. The warm hospitality shown by the staff will definitely create a lasting impression to the guest. For the food, the pancake with honey on the morning breakfast was the best one I ever had. The barbeque was awesome, the fruits are fresh, and I...

Visited for a weekend with our daughter, her husband and young Grandchildren. Arrived by speedboat driven by an excellent coxswain. Taken to our idyllic chalets each with its own balcony looking across a vista of palm trees, golden sands and blue sea. Went beach combing and built a swing and then a hammock for us all to use! Made a...
