I stayed at Governors Inn for 6 nights. The room was very clean and did have a fridge. The commode seats are very low. I am handicapped and requested a room but was told their weren't any...at all! I had a blood sugar drop one afternoon and called the front desk to see if I could have a donut or...

Upon first sight of the hotel, I was taken aback; not what I expected from the name. However, the staff was nice, the rooms were clean and cool (it was very hot & humid when we visited) Great location, nice free continental breakfast. We were within walking distance of the attractions, but chose to drive to the visitors center and...

First, I was shocked at how affordable the rates were when I saw the TripAdvisor rating for the hotel. I thought it was a mistake - I was getting rates for a hotel in the bottom 10! Yet, it proved that the rating in the low 30s (out of 80 hotels in Williamsburg) were well justified. * The staff were...

All of the staff are fantastic and the rooms were much better than we expected for such a low price! We were within walking distance to Colonial and they offer discounts on tickets to Colonial, PLUS you get discounts at the Colonial shops! The pool is beautiful at night! Breakfast options consisted of pastries, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk,...

My biggest talking point is the service. Above average from my experience. My wife and I arrived hours early and not only were we checked right in but the girl helping us (and I wish I could point out her name as she was exceptional but I do not remember!) went out of her way to talk about the area...

Okay, this isn't the Ritz but it is a perfectly great property especially for the price and location. You can walk to Colonial Williamsburg and you aren't in the rat race of the other side of town. It is really cheap or should I say great 'value for money' especially considering the other hotels we were looking at were $180...

If you are going to stay Williamsburg and on a budget this is your place. Close to everything. Clean, good pool and can't beat the price. Most rooms connect so for a big family it works well. Nice free Breakfast with plenty of seating. Tip, go upstairs at breakfast. there are more tables and sometimes when busy enough another food...

If all you really want out of a hotel is a good price and some conveniences, then the Governor's Inn is for you! The staff were friendly upon check-in, we were early, and even though the room wasn't ready, they let us check our luggage so we could walk into town. The rooms are pretty standard, if you've been in...

This is essentially a large motel just a few blocks from Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary. Rooms are a decent size, quiet, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was large and also clean (not a guaranteed thing on a Sunday evening). Check in was quick and friendly. Don't expect a romantic or...

We booked a room here because of the great reviews. The "hotel" is really a motel . The room is dirty, mold in the bathroom, floors are filthy and the beds are hard and uncomfortable. Because of the super reasonable price it attacts the " best" of 'merica!! The free breakfast is stale donuts, english muffins, bagels and cereal. The...
